Fairmount Park is a neighborhood of San Diego, California. Its borders are defined by Interstate 15 to the west, Interstate 805 to the east and California Highway 94 to the south. Its neighboring communities are South Park and Golden Hill to the west, Azalea Park and City Heights to the east, and Webster to the south. It is primarily residential, mostly single-family homes, with a small commercial area along Home Avenue including several restaurants and convenience stores. Bayridge is a small neighborhood within Fairmount Park on its westernmost knoll, identifiable by its outstanding views and well-maintained townhouse development. Fairmount Park is 3 miles from Downtown San Diego. Chollas Creek runs through it.It is part of the City Heights community plan area and is located in city council district 9, represented by Marti Emerald.

The founders claim that its creation was a reaction to Federal Communications Commission restrictions on new radio licenses. They provided a commercial-free unlicensed broadcast beginning on October 13, 2002 — with occasional interruptions due to FCC raids and technical issues. The open-format music selection was chosen by DJ preference but was weighted towards punk rock. Also featured were syndicated news programs such as Democracy Now! and Free Speech Radio News.

St. Augustine High School is a private Catholic high school for young men under the direction of the Order of Saint Augustine located in the North Park district of San Diego, California and founded in 1922. It is located in the Diocese of San Diego, and is a member of the Augustinian Secondary Education Association. Named after Saint Augustine of Hippo, an early Christian theologian, St. Augustine teaches young men within the framework of the Catholic faith and in the Augustinian tradition. This culturally diverse school serves the communities of San Diego County and Tijuana, Mexico. The San Diego Police Department classifies South Park as a Central Division neighborhood bounded by Balboa Park on the west at 28th Street, Juniper Street on the north, A Street on the south, and Juniper Canyon and SR 15 on the east. It includes zip codes 92102 and 92104.

City Heights is a dense urban community in central San Diego, California, known for its ethnic diversity. The area was previously known as East San Diego. City Heights is located south of Mission Valley and northeast of Balboa Park.City Heights is notable as a home to refugees and immigrants, with significant communities of Vietnamese, Somali, Cambodian, Laotian, and Latino residents. Many social and cultural resources, retail stores, and restaurants are operated by and/or serve the non-white population. Major commercial streets include University Avenue, El Cajon Boulevard, Fairmount Avenue, and Euclid Avenue. City Heights is densely populated and has mostly multi-family apartments and homes.

Albert Einstein Academy Charter School is an IB Primary Years Programme-certified charter school in San Diego, California, United States. It is a part of the San Diego Unified School District. Established in 2002, it is the only school in the district authorized as an IB-PYP school. The school serves grades kindergarten through 8th grade. It is actually chartered as two schools: an elementary school (K-5) of about 300 students and a middle school (6-8) of about 250 students. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.The school teaches via a language immersion program in which classes are taught partly in English and partly in German. Spanish was later added to the mix. The German-English immersion program has attracted visits from members of the German Parliament.As with all charter schools in San Diego, the school is free; admission is by application and a lottery. Originally, preference was given to students who speak German. However, that policy was challenged by the school board as possibly discriminatory and is no longer in place.
