San Joaquin General Hospital is a 196-bed public teaching hospital located within the San Joaquin County area of French Camp, California, United States. San Joaquin General Hospital, funded by San Joaquin County, originally established in 1857, is a general acute care facility providing a full range of inpatient services including General Medical/Surgical Care, High-Risk Obstetrics and Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatrics and Acute Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The hospital is the only trauma center serving the 700,000 residents of San Joaquin County. San Joaquin General Hospital is also a primary stroke center and the county's EMS base station. The county's EMS administrative and education facility is immediately adjacent to the hospital. The hospital offers physician residencies in family medicine, internal medicine, and general surgery. The physician residencies are affiliated with the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. The hospital also has a pharmacy residency program, and is a teaching site for the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy.

Central Valley Baptist Church is a baptist church located in Manteca, California; centered in between the cities of Stockton and Modesto. California Chicory Works site is a historical site in Stockton, California in San Joaquin County. California Chicory Works site is a California Historical Landmark No. 935, listed on September 30, 1980. In 1885, C. A. Bachmann and Charles H. W. Brandt formed a partnership and built the largest chicory plant in America by the 1890s. At the California Chicory Works, chicory roots were roasted and grounded on the finest German machinery and mills. The chicory root was often mixed with coffee or used alone for a tea hot drink. At its peak California Chicory Works purchase a cargo ship the Dora to ship its product to the east coast and other ports. The mill was on and powered by the San Joaquin River. The market dropped in about 1911 and the plant closed shortly after.The California Chicory Works was located on 1672 W Bowman Road in French Camp, California, The site is now the River Mill. A California Historical marker is there placed by the by State Department of Parks and Recreation and San Joaquin County Historical Society in 1981. The River MillCalifornia Chicory Works building was sold to its current owner, The River Mill, in 1972. In the 1990s the building had extensive renovations. The The River Mill is now rented as: a Convention center, social center, business meeting spot, special occasions site, wedding site and wedding reception site with 18,000 square feet of space .

Lone Tree Creek, formerly Dry Creek, a stream and tributary to the San Joaquin River, flowing in San Joaquin County and Stanislaus County, central California. It is named for the settlement of Lone Tree, about 2 1/4 miles northeast of present day Escalon. Its headwaters, in the Sierra Nevada foothills, are now 3.4 miles northwest of Oakdale, about 550 ft. southwest of the end of Parson Ranch Road, in Stanislaus County. Originally its source in the foothills was a few miles to the east, but its upper reaches were subsequently diverted for irrigation.The creek flows westward into San Joaquin County where it joins with Little John Creek. Their confluence forms French Camp Slough, a primary tributary of the San Joaquin River.

The Wong K. Gew Mansion is a historic house located at 345 W. Clay St. in Stockton. The mansion was the home of Wong K. Gew, a Chinese immigrant and a successful gambler and proprietor of gaming houses. When Wong built his home in 1921, anti-Asian laws required that he build his home south of Main Street. The mansion was designed by Losekann and Clowdsley in a mainly Federal Revival style typical of large houses of the era. The design included a veranda and a second-floor balcony on the front of the house, boxed cornices with brackets and friezes on the eaves and walls, and three gabled dormers; the interior of the house includes a fireplace with a $2,200 Yum Nan marble mantle.The Wong K. Gew Mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 20, 1978.

Originally built for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway (which acquired the San Francisco and San Joaquin Valley Railroad), it is a stop for trains on Amtrak's San Joaquin line between Oakland and Bakersfield. The Mission Revival style building cost $24,470 to construct (equivalent to $711,197 in 2022), and includes typical design features such as stuccoed walls, a red tile roof and shady arcades.The San Joaquin Street station is one of two train stations in Stockton. San Joaquin trains running between Sacramento and Bakersfield, as well as Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) trains do not pass this station and instead use the Robert J. Cabral Station closer to downtown. Two Amtrak Thruway bus routes serve this station. Route 3 connects passengers to the other station in Stockton, Sacramento, Chico and Redding. Route 6 connects with San Jose.
