Mather Field/Mills station is a side platformed Sacramento RT Light Rail station in Rancho Cordova, California, United States. The station was opened on September 6, 1998, and is operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. It is served by the Gold Line. The station is located near the intersection of Mather Field Road and Folsom Boulevard, is served by various RT bus routes and serves the nearby Mather Field. When the station opened in 1998, it replaced Butterfield as the eastern terminus of what was then the original RT light rail alignment (Watt/I-80–Downtown–Butterfield line) and was the first extension to the original network. It would remain the terminus through June 11, 2004, when the line was extended to Sunrise and eventually all the way to Folsom.

Cordova High School is a public high school serving grades 9 to 12. It is in the Folsom-Cordova Unified School District and located in Rancho Cordova, California - east of Downtown Sacramento on US 50. Cordova High School opened in 1963 and graduated the first class of students in 1965. Before the Cordova High School campus opened, the students in Rancho Cordova attended high school at Folsom High located at 715 Riley Street in Folsom.

Zinfandel station is a side platformed Sacramento RT Light Rail station in Rancho Cordova, California, United States. The station was opened on June 11, 2004, and is operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. It is served by the Gold Line. Across the street from the stop is the Rancho Cordova Town Center mall. The station was originally intended for construction along Folsom, east of Zinfandel Drive. However, RT officials moved the station west of Zinfandel after requests by the Rancho Cordova Area Chamber of Commerce due to the better location adjacent to retail centers. Zinfandel, along with Cordova Town Center and Sunrise, opened on June 11, 2004, as part of an $89 million, 2.8-mile (4.5 km) extension of the Gold Line east of the Mather Field/Mills station. Rancho Cordova city officials have stated the establishment of the stations will help in the development of transit-oriented development/redevelopment of the Folsom corridor through the city.

Yalisumni is a former Nisenan settlement in El Dorado County, California. It was located near Salmon Falls on the south side of the South Fork of the American River; its precise location is unknown.It was a source of workers for John Sutter's New Helvetia settlement, located in present-day Sacramento between Yalisumni and another Nisenan settlement, Pujuni.

Sacramento Children's Museum (SCM) is a children's museum in Rancho Cordova near Sacramento, California. The Museum is designed for children ages birth to eight. The Museum includes hands-on activities for children using pressurized tubes, artificial currents, balls in chutes to explore gravity, as well as painting and craft art activities. The museum also offers a pint-sized city for children to role play, including a miniature grocery store. The Museum is located off U.S. Route 50 in California. and was organized as a non-profit corporation in 2005 under the guidance of Kathleen Palley (a local mother) and Alan Godlove. The facility opened August 25, 2011 under the guidance of Executive Director Sharon Stone Smith. The museum includes 7,000 square feet of space.

The California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA or EMS Authority) is an agency of California State government. The California EMS Authority is one of the thirteen departments within the California Health and Human Services Agency. The director is required to be a physician with substantial experience in emergency medicine. Elizabeth Basnett is the current Acting Director.The mission of the California EMS Authority is to ensure quality patient care by administering an effective, statewide system of coordinated emergency medical care, injury prevention, and disaster medical response. The EMS Authority manages the state's medical response to major disasters. This includes maintenance, staffing and deployment of three 200-bed mobile field hospitals, 39 Disaster Medical Support Units that supply ambulance strike teams, and three 40-person medical assistance teams that are prepared to respond to a disaster. Disaster Healthcare Volunteers is California's initiative to pre-register, verify licensure and credentials, and mobilize professional healthcare volunteers. The program has roughly 14,000 registrants representing 47 professional license types including doctors, dentists, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, technicians, etc.
