Rancho La Sierra (also called "La Sierra de Santa Ana") was a 17,774-acre (71.93 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day Riverside County, California, United States. In 1846 Governor Pio Pico issued the grant to Vicenta Sepulveda. The rancho includes the present-day city of Norco, and the western end of Riverside.

La Sierra University (La Sierra or LSU) is a private, Seventh-day Adventist university in Riverside, California. Founded in 1922 as La Sierra Academy, it later became La Sierra College, a liberal arts college, and then was merged into Loma Linda University (LLU) in 1967 and became the Loma Linda University La Sierra College of Arts and Sciences (or better known as La Sierra Campus of LLU). In 1990, the La Sierra Campus separated from Loma Linda University to become La Sierra University, an independent institution. It is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), the Adventist Accrediting Association (AAA), and several discipline-based accrediting bodies.Since becoming independent in 1990, La Sierra University has won multiple national and world titles in the Enactus (formerly Students in Free Enterprise) competition. In the late 2000s and early 2010s, controversy arose involving the teaching of evolution in La Sierra's science curriculum. La Sierra was founded in 1922 when the Southeastern California Conference, one of the regional governing bodies of the Adventist church, obtained 300 acres (120 ha) of land in an unincorporated area of Riverside County from Willits J. Hole. The land was once a part of a large Mexican land grant named Rancho La Sierra, giving La Sierra its current name.

Eagle Valley is a basin in the Temescal Mountains, of Riverside County, California. It has an elevation of 1,283 feet (391 meters). The basin is overlooked by summits of the Temescal Mountains on the west, north and east, the tallest is 1,857-foot Arlington Mountain on the northeast. The valley is drained by three streams, the primary one, has its source on the south slope of Arlington Mountain and drains southwestward into Cajalco Canyon and Cajalco Canyon Creek.The basin and mountains were encompassed by part of the Mexican land grant of Rancho San Jacinto Sobrante. The historic Cajalco Tin Mine was located in this valley at 33°50′51″N 117°28′50″W.

The Young Americans College of the Performing Arts (YACPA; formerly: California Pacific College of the Performing Arts) is a performing arts conservatory in the city of Corona, CA, which is in the Greater Los Angeles Area in the United States. The school was accredited in 2017 and will go through its next comprehensive review in 2024.

El Cerrito (Spanish for "The Little Hill") is a census-designated place (CDP) in Riverside County, California, United States. It is an unincorporated area mostly surrounded by the city of Corona. The population was 5,100 at the 2010 census, up from 4,590 at the 2000 census.

La Sierra Academy (LSA) is a private, co-educational, transitional kindergarten–12th grade Christian school in Riverside, California. La Sierra Academy's mission statement states: "As a Christian K - 12 college preparatory school, we serve students from diverse backgrounds by providing the learning opportunities and skills needed to contribute to society, to prepare for life's work, and to flourish spiritually." LSA is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second largest Christian school system.

The Corona Founders Monument is a monument built in 1936 to the founding fathers of the City of Corona in the Riverside County, California. The monument was designated a California Historic Landmark (No.738) on June 6, 1960. The monument is in the Corona City Park in the 100 block of 6th Street of Corona, California. The founding fathers at first called the city South Riverside after the company they started the South Riverside Land and Water Company.The founding fathers of the City of Corona on May 4, 1886, bought land from the Rancho La Sierra and the Rancho Temescal Mexican land grants. On this land the founding fathers planted orange trees and lemon trees. By 1912 Corona have 5,000 acres of lemon, orange, grapefruit, limes and tangerines groves. With the groves came packing and processing plants. In Corona about 80% of all job were in the citrus industry. The citrus industry continued in Corona into the 1980s. Corona had the title of Lemon Capital of the World, but lost it to Ventura County, California. Corona Heritage Park & Museum at 510 W Foothill Parkway, Corona, California had displays about the Corona citrus industry. On July 13, 1896, South Riverside incorporate and changed the city name to Corona. Corona is Spanish for “Crown”. H.C. Kellogg laid the city out in a one-mile diameter circle in 1887, with Grand Boulevard three miles around it. To the North of the circle was a railroad station and citrus packing houses. To the South acres of citrus groves of what was called "Queen Colony'.On May 4, 1886, for $110,000 they started the South Riverside Land and Water Company with the purchase of: From Rancho La Sierra 11,5100 acres from the Yorba family. From Rancho Temescal 5,000 acres from the Serrano family.Counting for inflation $110,000 in 1886 would be almost $3 million in 2018 dollars.
