Hawthorne High School is a public high school located in Hawthorne, California, within the Centinela Valley Union High School District. It opened in 1951 with 9th and 10th grades. The first graduating senior class was that of 1954. It is most notable for its association with The Beach Boys, whose original members Brian, Carl, and Dennis Wilson, and Al Jardine attended the school. Coincidentally, Olivia Trinidad Arias, who later became Olivia Harrison (George Harrison’s wife), also attended; she graduated in 1965. Hawthorne High School is a cross-town rival with Leuzinger High School.

Vistamar School is a private, co-educational college-preparatory high school in El Segundo in Los Angeles County, California, United States. Vistamar School opened in September 2005, following almost four years of research, planning, fund raising and personnel recruitment. The school has a 76,000-square-foot (7,100 m2) building at 737 Hawaii Street in El Segundo and has remodeled approximately three quarters of the space for student use. Enrollment in 2012-13 was about 270 students. Current enrollment is 280 students. Over the next few years, Vistamar plans to expand to an anticipated enrollment of 300 students in grades 9 through 12.

UCLA Health Training Center is an indoor arena and basketball practice facility located in El Segundo, California. It hosts the South Bay Lakers of the NBA G League. The facility also serves as the training center for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). It has a seating capacity of 750 spectators.On August 31, 2016, it was announced that UCLA Health had signed a five-year naming rights deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. The deal stipulates an option to extend in five-year increments.This arena is currently the smallest venue in the NBA G League.

It is located over Aviation Boulevard, after which the station is named, near its intersection with Imperial Highway and just south of Century Freeway in Los Angeles, California.A free LAX Shuttle bus connects this station to Los Angeles International Airport; however, when the K Line fully opens in 2024, this shuttle will be replaced by the LAX Automated People Mover which will connect with LAX/Metro Transit Center station, and this station will then be renamed Aviation/Imperial station. The original name was Aviation Blvd/I-105 station but was later simplified and its location close to LAX clarified, with a change to Aviation/LAX. The train platform, currently suitable for two-car trains, are planned to be lengthened by 2028 to accommodate three-car trains to enable increased capacity of the line.

It is located over Douglas Street, after which it is named, near Park Place and one block north of Rosecrans Avenue in El Segundo, California. It opened with the commencement of Green Line service on August 12, 1995. By 2024, Douglas station will be served by the K Line after it gets extended to Redondo Beach and the C Line gets rerouted to LAX Airport at the future LAX/Metro Transit Center station. The original name for the station was Douglas St/Rosecrans Ave, but was later simplified to Douglas. This station was renovated in 2006 as part of street improvements in the area. The train platform, currently suitable for two-car trains, are planned to be lengthened by 2028 to accommodate three-car trains to enable increased capacity of the line.

Rancho Sausal Redondo covered the area that now includes Playa Del Rey, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Lawndale, Hermosa Beach, Inglewood, Hawthorne, and Redondo Beach.
