Jess Schwartz Jewish Community High School was the college-preparatory high school of Jess Schwartz Jewish Community Day School, a defunct K-12 school in Scottsdale, Arizona. The high school's first classes were held in 2001, and its first seniors graduated in 2004. The high school had 65 students in 2010. It was a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and had been accredited by the North Central Association (NCA) of Schools and Colleges. The school had solely been a high school until 2009, when it merged with the colocated K-8 King David School to form a K-12 institution.

The FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2007–2011 called Scottsdale a reliever airport. It is one of the busiest single-runway general aviation airports in the nation with 186,514 operations in 2019. The airport offers clearance, ground and tower services from 1300Z to 0400Z (6 am to 9 pm local time) daily.U.S. Customs service is available daily from 9 am to 7 pm. This allows visitors from all over the world to come to Scottsdale with proper visas. Neighbors’ complaints about aircraft noise around the airport increased beginning in 2004, peaking in 2005 with over 15,000 complaints being logged. In 2019, complaints decreased significantly to 1,919 complaints. It is unlikely that the airport would close, due to federal grant assurances and its tremendous economic impact. Scottsdale Airport is an important economic asset for Scottsdale and the region, contributing hundreds of millions of dollars in economic output. Aviation activity at the airport and in the surrounding airpark created $688 million in total economic benefits for the region in FY2019, with aviation activity supporting around 3,979 jobs. Economic benefits of $1.9 million are created daily.

Chaparral High School is a public high school located in Scottsdale, Arizona, in the United States. Its mascot is the firebird, and the school colors are black, red, and gold.Chaparral opened in February 1973 with 800 students, comprising freshman, sophomore, and junior classes. The principal was Spencer Saunders Sr. The initial structures were built at a cost of $3.5 million. Chaparral's first graduates were the class of 1974. The original campus was designed by Varney, Sexton, Sydnor Associates. The company had frequently been accused of being a pyramid scheme by U.S. media, business analysts, and former distributors, and was fined by the Italian government.

Horizon High School is a public high school in Phoenix, Arizona in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. The school was established in 1980. The current principal is Shelley Strofus. About 2,400 students are enrolled in the school. The mascot is a Husky.
