Hugel & Fils is a winery in Riquewihr, Alsace, France. Hugel & Fils is one of the major producers of Alsace wine, and has been an important force in the Alsace wine industry in its developments during the second half of the 20th century.Hugel & Fils produces its high-end wines from its own vineyards, and also operates a négociant business, which sources additional grapes under long-term contract from various growers. Hugel is highly export-oriented, with almost 80 percent of the wines produced being exported.The Hugel family are members of the Primum Familiae Vini.

The Alsatian Grand Cru vineyard Schoenenbourg is situated north of the village Riquewihr. The vineyard faces south and south-east on the steep hill Schoenenbourg. The altitude of the vines are between 265 and 380 meters and covers 53.4 ha og Keuper subsoil with marl, gypsum and dolomite.

It has been a listed historical monument since 1990.The ruin lies in the valley of the Sambach (a local brook). The ruin is near to Château de Bilstein, another castle ruin.

Château de Lupfen-Schwendi is a castle in the former commune of Kientzheim (now Kaysersberg Vignoble), in the department of Haut-Rhin, Alsace, France. It has been listed since 1994 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.The castle was originally built by Jean I de Lupfen, Prince-Bishop of Constance, one of the counts of Lupfen, known in German as Johann von Lupfen, some time before his death in 1536. Ownership passed to Lazarus von Schwendi, who also owned Château du Hohlandsbourg, who rebuilt part of the castle and extended it.Since 1972, the castle has been owned by la Confrérie Saint-Etienne, a local gastronomic society, which has housed a museum dedicated to wine in one of the buildings since 1980.
