All Saints Church is in the small village of Weston-on-Avon, Warwickshire, England. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Gloucester, the archdeaconry of Cheltenham and the deanery of Campden. Its benefice is combined with those of St Swithin's, Quinton and St Peter's, Welford.

Milcote railway station was a station on the Great Western Railway line between Stratford-upon-Avon and Honeybourne, which in 1908 became part of the Great Western Railway's new main line between Birmingham and Cheltenham. The station's site, in the far south-western corner of Milcote parish and about 3 miles (5 km) south-west of the GWR station in Stratford, was dictated by the fact that this was the first point south of the River Avon at which the line crossed a public road. This was, and is, a very lightly populated district, and at the time of the station's opening there was scarcely another building in sight. Most of Milcote's passenger traffic must have been expected to be to or from the nearby villages of Weston on Avon and Welford on Avon. The station's nameboards at the time of its eventual closure read "Milcote for Weston and Welford".

Weston-on-Avon is a village in Warwickshire, England. The population of the Civil Parish taken at the 2011 census was 170. It is about 3 miles (5 km) south-west of the town of Stratford-upon-Avon.

Chambers Crossing Halt railway station was a timber-framed railway halt on the Stratford-upon-Avon to Cheltenham section of the Honeybourne Line. The station was located two miles south-west of Stratford upon Avon. The site of the station is now part of the Stratford greenway and may in future form part of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway's northern extension from Toddington.

The Stratford on Avon and Broadway Railway project (SBR) was an English railway project whose aim was to re-open the closed railway line from Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire to Honeybourne railway station, Worcestershire for main-line re-connection. A later extension was planned to Broadway, Worcestershire where the line could link up with the proposed northern extension of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway. The railway operated at the former Long Marston Ministry of Defence depot. The railway operated at the north west corner of the site which is now the location of the proposed new Middle Quinton Eco-town.

Clifford Chambers and Milcote is a civil parish in the Stratford-on-Avon District, in the county of Warwickshire, England, formed in 2004. It is made up of the two villages of Clifford Chambers and Milcote. The Honeybourne railway line used to run through the parish and there were two stations, which are Chambers Crossing Halt and Milcote. It had a population of 432 at the 2011 census.

Welford-on-Avon is a village situated some 4 miles (6 km) west-south-west of Stratford-upon-Avon in the county of Warwickshire, England. The population was measured at 1,420 in the 2011 census. Until 1931, Welford-on-Avon was in Gloucestershire (as part of the Rural District of Marston Sicca), when it was transferred to Stratford-on-Avon Rural District. Since 1974 it has been part of the Stratford-on-Avon District. Welford sits within a meander of the river Avon, on the south bank of the river. The village maypole is one of the tallest in England (at 65 feet / 20 metres). It used to be wooden but was replaced by an aluminium pole after a lightning strike. There are three pubs and many Tudor half-timbered and thatched cottages, mostly close to the village church, which is in the oldest part of Welford. Historically there were two railway station within two miles of the centre of the village, Binton (1885-1949) and Milcote (1859-1966).

Milcote is a village and former civil parish in Warwickshire. It falls within the ecclesiastical parish of All Saints Church. It was made up of Upper Milcote or Milcote-on-Stour, site of Mount Grevill manor (begun by Ludovic Greville), and Lower Milcote or Milcote-on-Avon. Milcote was one of the estates which Ceolred of Mercia is said to have granted to Evesham Abbey in 710. It was then appropriated by the bishop of Worcester, recovered by abbot Aethelwig, seized again by bishop Odo of Bayeux and never returned to the Abbey. Much later it passed to the Greville family. The village was served by Milcote railway station from 1859 to 1966. It was originally part of the ecclesiastical and civil parish of Weston-on-Avon, but became a civil parish in its own right in 1894. That civil parish was formed by a 2-mile-long 609-acre strip of land (with an average depth of 0.5 miles) running along the river Avon's south bank from its junction with the river Stour. Its population in 1894 was 50. It and the civil parish of Clifford Chambers merged in 2004 to form the civil parish of Clifford Chambers and Milcote.

The River Stour is an English river that rises in the county of Oxfordshire but largely flows through Warwickshire. It is a tributary of the Avon, which it joins just south west of Stratford-upon-Avon. The source of the River Stour is a spring near Highways Farm, just south of Swalcliffe. Some 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) to the west, it crosses the Oxfordshire/Warwickshire border near Traitor's Ford. The first settlement that the river flows through is the village of Stourton. The River Stour then turns to the north and passes through the town of Shipston-on-Stour. The A3400 road roughly follows the course of the river to Stratford-upon-Avon, through the villages of Tredington Halford, Alderminster, Newbold-on-Stour, Atherstone-on-Stour and Clifford Chambers.

St Peter's Church is the Anglican church in the village of Binton in Warwickshire.

Located near Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, England, Shakespeare County Raceway became a permanent drag racing facility in 1980 when it was known as 'Long Marston Raceway'. Situated on the former RAF Long Marston station which became Long Marston Airfield, drag racing events occurred on the site sporadically since the early 1970s. In 1990 the track became known as 'Avon Park Raceway', advertised as "Spectacular drag racing for cars and bikes at the fastest track outside the USA", In 2008 it finally became Shakespeare County Raceway Ltd.SCR is generally considered to be Britain's 'second' dragstrip after Santa Pod Raceway. In late 2017, planning applications were submitted by Cala to build initially 400 homes on the site, followed eventually by a further 3,100 to be known as Marston Mead Garden Village.Local newspaper Stratford Herald reported in December 2017 that a Stratford local council document established that potentially up to £100 million funding from the developer Cala would need to be assured, to be invested widely into infrastructure improvements, including roads, public transport, schools and doctors' surgeries.Their official website now states the raceway closed in 2018.

Long Marston Airfield was a Royal Air Force base between 1941 and 1954, situated approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) south west of Stratford-upon-Avon near the village of Long Marston in Warwickshire. It is now managed by Anthony Hodges, and is home to: Second World War airfield buildings Unusual F.C. Construction 'Mushroom' pillboxes Microflights Flying School Avon Microlight Club Freedom Sports Aviation - club and flying school; Chief Flying Instructor Simon Baker) MotorGlide - gliding club specialising in motorgliders the Shakespeare County Raceway dragstrip the Long Marston Clay Shooting Ground.It is also well known as a venue for summertime music festivals, including Godskitchen Global Gathering, the Bulldog Bash, and the Phoenix Festival. In 1981 the tv series Crossroads filmed there, ATV relocated the set of the Crossroads reception area to the Airfield to set light to it as part of the motel fire storyline. In 1983 the Evesham Motorcycle Club hosted held the British Masters Grasstrack Championships at the Airfield.
