Lake Hamilton, Arkansas

Lake Hamilton and Lake Catherine are a pair of man-made lakes located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, serving as a tourist attraction for the area. Both Lakes were developed by Arkansas Power & Light.

The Van Lyell House, now the centerpiece of the Hamilton House Estate bed and breakfast, is a historic house at 130 Van Lyell Terrace in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is a two-story buff brick structure, built with Mediterranean styling. It was built in 1931, at about the same time that Carpenter Dam was under construction, impounding Lake Hamilton on whose shores it stands. It was built by Van Lyell, owner of the Hot Springs Coca-Cola franchise.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Garvan Woodland Gardens is a 210-acre (85 ha) botanical garden and woodland garden located at 550 Arkridge Road, approximately 6 miles from Hot Springs National Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas, United States. Owned by the University of Arkansas, it has the stated mission of education, research and public service. For an admission fee, it is open daily, except on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and the month of January.Garvan Woodland Gardens is situated on a woodland peninsula with 4.5 miles (7 km) of shoreline on Lake Hamilton. It features rocky inclines reminiscent of the surrounding Ouachita Mountains, floral landscapes, streams, and waterfalls in a natural woodland setting, plus the fifth-ranked Garden of the Pine Wind Japanese Garden with Japanese maples and tree peonies, a conifer border, and various flower and rock gardens. Hot Springs World Class High School (HSWCHS) is a public magnet secondary school located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, United States. HSWCHS is one of seven public high schools in Garland County and the sole high school of the Hot Springs School District. The school's 1914 facility is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and its academic programs include Advanced Placement (AP) coursework and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. It was a segregated school and Hot Springs refused to integrate for more than a decade after Brown v. Board of Education and when it finally did it made Langston High School refuse to provide busing to Hot Springs High School from African American neighborhoods, and largely excluded African American faculty from Langston and limited the activities of African American students.

Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort, formerly Oaklawn Park Race Track, is an American thoroughbred racetrack and casino in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is the home to "The Racing Festival of the South", a four-day series of races that concludes with the Arkansas Derby.In 2017, Oaklawn was ranked fifth among thoroughbred racetracks in North America by the Horseplayers Association of North America.In 2015, a pair of victories at Oaklawn put American Pharoah on the path to becoming American Horse of the Year and the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years.

The Cleveland Arms Apartment Building is a historic residential building at 2410 Central Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is an L-shaped three-story building, finished in brick veneer. Its entrances are framed by a simplified Art Deco surround, and the Oakwood Street facade is adorned with the words "Cleveland Arms" in Art Deco lettering. It was built about 1945 through the effort of Thomas Cleveland, owner of a local insurance company, and was built using funding support from the Federal Housing Administration as housing for returning war veterans. It was designed by I.D. McDaniel, a local architect.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.

The W. C. Brown House is a historic house located at 2330 Central Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is a large 21-room mansion, with a prominent location on one of the city's major thoroughfares.

The Dr. Albert H. Tribble House is a historic house at 100 Trivista Right Street in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is a 3+1⁄2-story brick building, with a gabled roof and Classical Revival styling. Its main facade is symmetrical, with tall ground-floor windows flanking the main entrance, which has an arched transom and sidelight windows. It was built in 1938, and is possibly a design of Hot Springs architect Iven Donald McDaniel. Albert H. Tribble, for whom it was built, was prominent local physician.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.
