Shri Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College is the first and only homoeopathic medical college in Shiroda, Goa affiliated to Goa University and is recognized by Government of Goa. It is also recognized by Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi & Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Dept. of AYUSH, Government of India.Subhash Shirodkar, who worked as teacher for 16 years, served MLA for many decades, served as Minister for Government of Goa founded established Educational Society "Shivgram Education Society" at Shiroda in 1988 with a Primary School, High School and a Higher Secondary School. He established Shri Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College at Shiroda in 1998. The college has very good infrastructure facilitated with all departments. The college is attached with Hospital for clinical training. Separate outpatient segments and in patient department is functioning to serve the people. The college publishes the Journal Indian Journal of Applied Homoeopathy a quarterly publication and involved in various research activities. Many pioneer Homoeopaths serves as visiting professors. The college hosted many seminars and exhibitions to popularize homoeopathy. The college student's council involved various social activities.

Techfest is the annual science and technology festival of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, consisting of social initiatives and outreach programs around the year.It started in 1998 with the aim of providing a platform for the Indian student community to develop and showcase their technical prowess, with a footfall of 1.75 lakhs in its latest edition. The activities culminate in a grand three-day event in the campus of IIT Bombay which attracts people from all over the world, including students, academia, corporates and the general public.

Balasore College of Engineering and Technology is a private technological college in Sergarh, Baleshwar, Odisha. The college has eight academic departments for polytechnics and engineering. Established in the year 2001, it is one of the oldest private colleges of Odisha and the largest technical institute in the Baleshwar district. The Institute of Science (formerly known as the Royal Institute of Science (RIS)) is an institution of postgraduate education and research located in Mumbai, India. It is managed by the Government of Maharashtra and is currently clustered from 2019 batch with the Dr. Homi Bhabha State University. However, previously enrolled batch students will get their degree affiliated to the Mumbai University. It is accredited with an 'A' Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in March 2014.Established in 1920, its research centers around all branches of science including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Mathematics, Biochemistry, Bio-Technology and Environmental studies. In Maharashtra state and University of Mumbai, some programs like the Masters in biochemistry, were available only in the Institute of Science until recently. It offers M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs and currently does not offer undergraduate programs. Though the institute offers M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs of the University of Mumbai till 2018 enrolled batch due to the autonomy granted to the institute, the admissions to these programs are managed separately by the institute but examinations are conducted by the Dr. Homi Bhabha State University (cluster). 'The Institute of Science, Mumbai' was founded by George Clarke, 1st Baron Sydenham of Combe. The institute's buildings were constructed using funds from private donations. Sir Cowasji Jehangir donated money for the institute's east wing. The construction of the west flank of the main building was paid for by Jacob Sassoon, and the east flank by Sir Currimbhoy Ebrahim, Bt. Vasanji Mulji donated funds for the library.The foundation stone for the institute, designed by George Wittet, was laid in 1911. Completed in 1920, the building stands next to the Gothic structures of the Rajabai tower of University of Mumbai and the Elphinstone College.Built in yellow Kharodi basalt stone from the district of Thane, this elegant, curving facades of the two wings, joined by the flat central dome of the Cowasji Jehangir Hall, manage to harmonize with the 19th century buildings surrounding it. Protected from the street by the many-arched facades are a botanical garden, herbarium and a park. The Institute of Science is awarded the status of "College with potential for Excellence" by the UGC in 2009 and awarded generous grants for infrastructure development.

Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) is an autonomous public technical and research university located in Powai, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. IIT Bombay was founded in 1958. In 1961, the Parliament decreed IITs as Institutes of National Importance. A committee formed by the Government of India recommended the establishment of four higher institutes of technology to set the direction for the development of technical education in the country in 1946. Planning began in 1957 and the first batch of 100 students was admitted in 1958. Since its establishment in Powai, the institute has physically expanded to include more than 584 major buildings with a combined area of more than 2.2 square kilometers. IIT Bombay is the most reputed and the most competitive institute in India to get into and has been the first preferred destination of top rank holders in the science and engineering disciplines. It is known for its 4 years, 5 years & 2 years programmes for which the entry is through the Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced, Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Degrees offered include: Bachelor of Technology, Four Years Bachelor of Science, Two Years Master of Science, Five Years IDDDP (Inter-Disciplinary Dual Degree Programme), 2 or 3 Year Master of Technology, and a few others. It also has a comprehensive graduate program offering doctoral degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. It currently has a total of 15 academic departments, 20 centres, a school of excellence and four interdisciplinary programs including a Management Program. The college also has a department dedicated to the study of public policy, the Centre for Policy Studies, which offers postgraduate (Master's in Public Policy), doctoral and postdoctoral level courses in public policy. The centre has five primary research areas: digital societies, structural inequalities, environment, markets and governance, and technology and society.

Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (popularly known as SJMSOM or simply SOM) is a public business school and part of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. SJMSOM was established in 1995. In 2000, the school was renamed to Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, in honor of Dr. Shailesh J. Mehta who is a Mechanical Engineer graduate of IIT Bombay The director of school is S.N. Rao.

The Library is one of the central support services of IIT Bombay. The mission of the Library is to provide information services and access to bibliographic and full text digital and printed resources in order to support the scholarly and information needs of the students, faculty and staff at the Institute Community.

IIT Bombay Racing is a Formula Student team from India based at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay since 2007. The team consists of 70 members who aim to conceive, design and fabricate a formula style racecar through innovation to compete in international Formula Student events. IIT Bombay Racing made its debut at Formula Student Michigan, 2008 with an entry car Vayu as only Indian team participating in the event. In the following year, the team participated in Formula Student UK, 2009 at Silverstone Circuit with entry car Agni and was 2nd best Asian entry at Formula Student UK. The team also achieved highest score among Indian participating teams along with a 2nd rank in Cost Event. In the year 2012, IIT Bombay Racing developed Prithvi 3.0 securing 1st in low weight sustainability and won the best car award by peers at the Baja SAE India event held at Pithampur. The same year also witnessed the launch of EVo 1.0, India's first student designed electric racing vehicle. Since 2012, the team has launched 7 electric vehicles with giant leaps in design and performance. Recently IIT Bombay Racing's 7th electric Racecar EvoK participated in Formula Student UK, 2019.

Mini Sabarimala, situated on a hillock surrounded by hills and valleys within the precincts of NCH Colony, Kanjurmarg (West), Mumbai, is the first ancient Ayyappa Temple outside Kerala State. As revealed by the astrologer Shri Karuvatta Kochugovindan, there was a big Devi temple and a small Ayyappa temple at this place, where today stands the temple of Shree Mini Sabarimala. These temples were destroyed by the foreign invaders. The remnants of these can be seen even today. The invaders also killed the priests of these temples.Since then the devotees used to worship Shri Ayyappa in the same dilapidated temple. Therefore after the formation of the temple trust in 1960, a need was felt to perform certain purification rites or the Dosha Parihara Kriyas like Astha Mangala Deva Prashanam. These rites were the prerequisites for starting the main construction work and re-installation of images.Accordingly in 1980, after performing Ashta Mangala Deva Prashanam, the temple trust started the construction work as per the details in Tantra Vidhi and Thachu Shastra of Kerala. They reconstructed the main Ayyappa temple in the center and temples of Devi Bhuvaneshvari and Shri Ganesha to its left and right respectively. Sarpakavu or the Nagadevatas were also installed in the Northeastern corner.Punahpratishtha or the reinstallation of Shri Ayyappa image and other images made of Panchaloha was done on Pushya Nakshatra day of the Kerala Hindu calendar, in the Midhunam (June–July) month by Shri Pullamvazhi Devan Narayanan Namboothiri, Pullamvazhi illam, Haripad, the famous Vedic and Tantra scholar from Kerala. During the year 2000, again the Ashta Mangala Deva Prashanam was performed. Various Poojas and Homams and Kalashabhishekam were performed by Mahatanthri Shri Devan Vasudevan Namboothiri.

Holy Trinity Church or the Most Holy Trinity is a Roman Catholic church in Powai, a suburb of Mumbai.It was built during the Portuguese era by the Jesuits in 1557.The church belongs to the Archdiocese of Bombay.
