Brixworth Country Park

The Brixworth Rural District was a rural district in Northamptonshire, England from 1894 to 1974. It was named after and administered from the village of Brixworth. It was created by the Local Government Act 1894 from the Brixworth rural sanitary district. In 1935 it took in part of the disbanded Oxendon Rural District. It was abolished in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, the bulk going to form part of the new district of Daventry.

Brixworth is a large village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire, England. The 2001 census recorded a parish population of 5,162, increasing to 5,228 at the 2011 census. The village's All Saints' Church is of Anglo-Saxon origin.

Their engines have won ten Formula One Constructors' Championships and eleven Drivers' Championships. Beside those Formula One constructors, the company currently supplies road-legal engines for the Mercedes-AMG ONE sports car.

Pitsford is a village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire in the United Kingdom. According to 2001 census, the parish's population was 636 people, increasing to 671 at the 2011 census.The village's name means 'Peoht's ford'.Pitsford Water, which is used for fishing and sailing as well as storing water for the local area, is north-west of the village, but only part of it lies within the parish. Pitsford Airstrip is at Moulton Grange Farm.

Brixworth Abbey was a monastic house in Northamptonshire, England. The church, thought to have been of basilican plan, was devastated during the Danish invasion of 876, and converted into All Saints' Church in the tenth century, when the original western entrance was formed into a tower.

All Saints' Church, Brixworth, now the parish church of Brixworth, Northamptonshire, England, is a leading example of early Anglo-Saxon architecture. In 1930 the British architectural historian Sir Alfred Clapham called it "perhaps the most imposing architectural memorial of the 7th century yet surviving north of the Alps". It is the largest English church that remains substantially as it was in the Anglo-Saxon era. It was designated as a Grade I listed building in 1954.

Pitsford Weather Centre, formerly Pitsford Hall weather station, is an climatological station maintained by Pitsford School in the village of Pitsford, Northamptonshire. The centre was established in 1998 and issues local forecasts for the county as well as maintaining a detailed and continuous weather record. The centre maintains the Met Office climate station for Northampton, officially known as Pitsford, Northampton. The centre is a regular contributor to weather-related articles in the local press and has featured on local and national TV and radio. An analysis of each month's weather as well special articles are published in the centre's Monthly Weather report received by the British Library and available online and in hard copy to subscribers. The weather station has been run by Sixth Form students using traditional meteorological instruments from its inception in 1998 until 2016 when the site became fully automatic and renamed Pitsford Weather Centre. However, manual observations were recommenced in 2018 when the site was incorporated into the Met Office network of climatological monitoring stations. The Weather information is now available via Twitter and Facebook as well as smartphone apps for iPhone and Android. An extensive archive of county weather records is held by the station which date back to 1880 and the station continues to receive weather records from a number of sites from across the county. The weather centre's most popular feature remains its Daily Weather Report, a comprehensive 3 day forecast for Northamptonshire, distributed by free subscription email. The station enjoys the patronage of broadcast meteorologists Michael Fish MBE (now retired) and Alex Deakin. It is a corporate member of the Royal Meteorological Society.

Pitsford School, established 1989, is a co-educational, 3-18 independent school in Pitsford, Northamptonshire. Originally called Northamptonshire Grammar School, the school changed its name to Pitsford School in September 2011. Pitsford School is run by the Northamptonshire Independent Grammar School Charity Trust, set up on 27 July 1998. The trust was registered with the Charity Commission in August 1988 to promote and provide for the advancement of education. On 6 September 1989, the school opened with 47 boys admitted across three year groups, Y7-9. The founding Headmaster was Malcolm Tozer, the current headmaster is Craig Walker.

Holy Family of Nazareth Convent School was a girls school in Pitsford Hall in the village of Pitsford, Northamptonshire, England. The convent school was run by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth (The Holy Family Convent School), and existed from 1947–1984. It was started after the Second World War as a Polish girls school for children of emigrants. The order of religious who took on the project was founded by Franciszka Siedliska who had opened the first Polish school in London in the 1890s. The "Pitsford" school provided education at elementary and secondary levels, finishing with the GCE – A level exam (the equivalent of the Polish ‘matura’ certificate). In the 1970s and 1980s the school gained a multiethnic character; in the 1980s about 50% schoolgirls were of Polish origin, while the rest were native British. By 1984 about 1,500 girls had graduated from the school. After its closure it later reopened in 1989 as the Northamptonshire Grammar School (now Pitsford School).

Scaldwell is a village and civil parish in the West, Northamptonshire, England. The village's name means 'spring/stream which is shallow'.Scaldwell is tiny and has neither shops nor pubs; at the time of the 2001 census the parish had a population of 271 living in 113 households, increasing to 302 in 2011 and 304 in 2020. It has an ageing population. The nearest place for school, shop or pub is Brixworth. Scaldwell has a church dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul. It has a Norman tower and some 13th century-features and was restored in 1863. The village has a traditional green and was mentioned in the Domesday Book.

Spratton railway station is a former railway station which served the village of Spratton in Northamptonshire, England. The station was once an intermediate stop on the Northampton–Market Harborough line, which closed in 1981. A section of the route at Pitsford and Brampton station has now been revived as the headquarters of a heritage railway called the Northampton & Lamport Railway. The preservation society which operates the line has a Light Railway Order up to and including Spratton, and it is likely a station will be rebuilt there in the future. The original signal box has been preserved and is stored awaiting re-use.

Brixworth railway station on the Northampton and Market Harborough railway opened on 16 February 1859 serving the village of Brixworth, Northamptonshire, England. It ran half a mile (c. 800 m) west of the village towards the village of Creaton along what remains as Station Road. It was part of the London and North Western Railway. Apart from the passenger service the line also enabled a large ironstone field near the village to be developed which had been an important consideration in developing the line.The station lost its passenger service on 4 January 1960 and goods service on 1 June 1964. The line was re-opened for limited periods after that and not closed completely until 15 August 1981. Subsequently, the Heritage Northampton & Lamport Railway has been able to lease the trackbed and is restoring part of the route.
