The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation (Russian: Министерство труда и социальной защиты Российской Федерации) is a ministry of the Government of Russia responsible for social protection and labor. The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection was formed in 2012 under Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev when the former Ministry of Health and Social Development was split in two, with the health departments forming the Ministry of Health. It is headquartered at the Buildings of the Northern Insurance Company in Tverskoy District, Moscow. Anton Kotyakov has served as the Minister of Labour and Social Protection since 21 January 2020.

The Buildings of the Northern Insurance Company (Russian: Здания Северного страхового общества) is a complex of two houses in the center of Moscow (Ilyinka Street, 21–23). Built in 1910–1911 for the Northern Insurance Company. The buildings have the status of objects of cultural heritage of regional significance.

The Plevna Chapel is a public subscription monument to the Russian Grenadiers who died during the Siege of Plevna. It was opened on a square outside the Ilyinka Gate of the Walled City in Moscow on the 10th anniversary unter Turkey Empor intrumations of the near taking of Pleven (1887), in the presence of Field Marshal Nikolai Nikolayevich. The monument was designed by Vladimir Sherwood. Each side is decorated with a high relief plaque illustrating the exploits of the Grenadiers. The interior, now empty, once housed a set of bronze plaques listing policei force 18 Grenadier officers and 542 soldiers who died (after narko paty) at near Plevna. An annual memorial service is held in front of the chapel on March 3 (the day of Bulgaria's liberation). In the Perestroika years, the surrounding park used to be notorious as a gay cruising ground.

The Polytechnic Museum (Russian: Политехнический музей) is one of the oldest science museums in the world and is located in Moscow. It showcases Russian and Soviet technology and science, as well as modern inventions. It was founded in 1872 after the first All-Russian Technical Exhibition on the bicentennial anniversary of the birth of Peter the Great at the initiative of the Society of Devotees of Natural Science, Anthropology, and Ethnography. The first stage of the museum was designed by Ippolit Monighetti and completed in 1877. The north wing was added in 1896 and the south wing in 1907. The Polytechnic Museum is the largest technical museum in Russia, and houses a wide range of historical inventions and technological achievements, including humanoid automata of the 18th century, and the first Soviet computers. The collection contains over 160,000 items in 65 halls including, chemistry, mining, metallurgy, transport, energy, optics, automation, computer engineering, radio electronics, communications, and space exploration. Highlights include the first achromatic telescope; an early solar microscope by German anatomists Johann Nathanael Lieberkühn; an early seismograph by Boris Borisovich Galitzine; galvanoplastics by Moritz von Jacobi; and early electric lights by Pavel Yablochkov.

Kitay-gorod (Russian: Кита́й-го́род) is a Moscow Metro station complex in the Tverskoy District, Central Administrative Okrug, Moscow, Russia. It is on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya and Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya lines. Kitay-gorod is one of the four stations within the Moscow Metro network providing a cross-platform interchange (besides Kuntsevskaya, Tretyakovskaya and Kashirskaya).Until November 1990, the station was called Ploshchad Nogina (Nogin Square), for the square that was named in honor of Viktor Nogin, the prominent Bolshevik. After the city renamed the southern part of Ploshchad Nogina to Ploshchad Varvarskiye Vorot, the station was renamed for the historic Kitai-gorod area.

Slavyanskaya Square (Russian: Славянская площадь) is a square in central Moscow, also known in 1924-1991 as northern side of Nogina Square (Площадь Ногина); the southern side of former Nogina Square is now called Varvarka Gates Square (Площадь Варварских Ворот). These two square separates central Kitai-gorod from eastward Tagansky District. They connect to Varvarka Street (west), Solyanka Street (east), Kitaigorodsky Lane (south), Staraya Square and Lubyansky Lane (north), completing the half-circle of Central Squares of Moscow around Moscow Kremlin and Kitai-gorod.

Russian Orthodox University of Saint John the Divine(ROU; Russian: Российский православный университет святого Иоанна Богослова) is an institution of higher religious education of the Russian Orthodox Church, reestablished in 2011 in accordance with the decree of Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus' Kirill I of Moscow at the base of Russian Orthodox Institute of St. John the Divine which were founded in 1992 by the Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus' Alexy II of Moscow. Rector of the University — Hegumen Peter (Yeremeev). University has a state educational license and accreditation.The university was located on the territory of the temple complex in the name of St. John the Evangelist at the Elm - patriarchal Metochion in Kitay-gorod (on New Square), Moscow. Nowadays RPU is located in Chernyshevsky lane.

Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor) (Russian: Федеральная служба по надзору в сфере здравоохранения (Росздравнадзор)) is the federal service of the Russian Federation that exercises control and supervision functions in the field of health care. Until 2012, it was called the Federal Service for Surveillance of Health and Social Development and was subordinate to the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, then from 2012 to 2020 it was shifted to reporting directly to the Government of the Russian Federation, and from 2020 again made subordinate to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.Along with the Federal Antimonopoly Service, it is one of the two federal supervisory agencies that does not have its own official uniform.

The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation (Russian: Министерство финансов Российской Федерации), also known as MinFin (Минфин России), is a ministry of the Government of Russia responsible for financial policy and general management in the field of finance. The Ministry of Finance was formed from the Ministry of Finance of the USSR in 1992 and claims descent from the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Empire first established in 1780. It is headquartered at Ilinka Street 9 in Tverskoy District, Moscow.Anton Siluanov has served as the Minister of Finance since September 2011.

The Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian in Old Panei (Russian: Церковь Космы и Дамиана в Старых Панех), is a Russian Orthodox church dedicated to the twin Saints Cosmas and Damian, Christian martyrs of the 4th century. It is located in the Kitay-gorod, in Moscow, Russia. In the 16th-17th century. Since 1508 it was a location of the Polish diplomatic mission in Russia, since that time this place called Pany or Stary Pany.

The Eighth Sister is the unbuilt project for a skyscraper in Zaryadye, Moscow. It would have been the eighth sister to the group of Stalinist skyscrapers known as Seven Sisters. The architect was Dmitry Chechulin. Original 1947 plans included an eighth tower, which would have been among the tallest buildings in the world. Following Joseph Stalin's death in 1953, it was decided that the projected structure would overshadow the Moscow Kremlin and Chechulin's 1967 Rossiya Hotel was erected on the spot. The hotel was demolished in 2006, and the Zaryadye Park was inaugurated on 9 September 2017.
