Myrtle Station, Ontario

Myrtle is a community in the Town of Whitby, Durham Region, Ontario, Canada. Myrtle, located in what was Whitby Township, was first named Well's Corners. In 1856, the name of the community was changed to Wellwood and again to Myrtle in the 1860s. In 1968, Myrtle became part of the Town of Whitby when the Town amalgamated with Whitby Township. Myrtle is located approximately 16 kilometres north of the town centre of Whitby and 6 kilometres north of Brooklin along Highway 12.

Ashburn is a hamlet in the town of Whitby, Durham Region, Ontario, Canada, located approximately 15 kilometres north of the town core, and centred on the intersection of Ashburn Road and Myrtle Road. It is a rural settlement area on the Oak Ridges Moraine, situated on the headwaters of the Lynde Creek watershed and part of Ontario's protected Golden Horseshoe Greenbelt.

Raglan is a community in Ontario. It is located 10 miles north of Oshawa and 35 miles northeast of Toronto. The village is famous for the country store and farm on the corner of Simcoe and Raglan Road. White Feather Farms first started in the 1960s when a former Dutch settler purchased the property. The farm is now under management by the second generation and has expanded numerous times with a new 15,000 bird barn. Raglan is also the site of the Old Oshawa Ski Club on the current grounds of Trillium Trails Banquet Facility and TreeTop Eco-Adventure Park. Trillium Trails used to run cross country skiing on some of the old trails of the Oshawa Ski Club and signs at the new Zip-lining park, point out the property's heritage.

Brooklin High School is a high school, including grades 9 to 12, located in Whitby, Ontario, Canada. Part of the Durham District School Board, it opened in September 2015, initially with grades 9 to 11 . The school mascot is a bear, and the school colours are black, cyan, and silver.

While the area of Brooklin proper is confined to a specific area, the general area surrounding Brooklin largely identifies as "Brooklin" rather than "Whitby". Columbus is a community in the Canadian province of Ontario, located within the city of Oshawa. The main road is Columbus Rd. There is one church serving the area on Simcoe St. There is also a golf course. One bus serves the area on its way to Port Perry and Uxbridge from Durham College. It runs every two hours. There are a few farms in the area dotting Ritson Road and Simcoe Street. The village's population is about 325. Most people commute to Oshawa or Toronto. The nearest grocery store is at Port Perry or Oshawa. Columbus is about 15 minutes from Oshawa and 60 minutes from Toronto.

Heber Down Conservation Area is located in Whitby, Ontario and is owned and operated by Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority. It is located within the Lynde Creek drainage basin; it is a part of the provincially significant Heber Down Wetland Complex. The area is composed of two types of broad terrain units: a valley formed by the creek and the Glacial Lake Iroquois beach. The area provides such recreational activities as hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, and fishing.

Whitby is a federal electoral district (riding) in Ontario consisting of the entire town of Whitby, Ontario. The boundaries for Whitby were created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and were legally defined in the 2013 representation order. The riding came into existence upon the call of the 42nd Canadian federal election in October 2015. It was created out of the district of Whitby—Oshawa. It is a key Liberal-Conservative marginal seat.

Whitby is a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that was previously represented in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as Whitby-Oshawa. The new riding was created through the 2015 Representation Act for the 2018 provincial election, with the district losing some territory to the district of Oshawa to more closely align to the actual town's borders.
