Gaters Mill is a complex of buildings on the River Itchen in the civil parish of West End, Hampshire. The complex forms part of the Gaters Mill & Romill Close Conservation Area, and includes a Grade II listed farmhouse and some cottages from a farm called Black Farm. The boundary of the borough runs alongside Gaters Mill, and the other side of the border is part of the Itchen Valley Conservation Area, designated by Southampton City Council.

The airport is owned and operated by AGS Airports which also owns and operates Aberdeen and Glasgow Airports. It was previously owned and operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings (formerly known as BAA).Up to March 2020, 95% of the flights from Southampton were operated by Flybe. However, the airline went into administration on 5 March 2020 with all flights cancelled. When Flybe was purchased and relaunched, it was announced that they would start serving Southampton Airport from the 23rd of July 2022.

Chartwell Green is a suburb of Southampton, England, although it falls outside the formal city boundary. Instead, Chartwell Green is part of the West End parish, within the Borough of Eastleigh. The main parade of shops in Chartwell Green is sometimes referred to as Townhill Farm, after the nearby Townhill Park House. The Townhill Farm Community Centre was built in 1991 and comprises an entrance foyer, toilets, a main hall with adjacent store room, a committee room and adjacent kitchen, and a café area overlooking a patio and garden. The building is owned by Southampton City Council and is on a 125-year lease; until 2006, it was managed by Eastleigh Borough Council but then this task was transferred to West End Parish Council.The bulk of Chartwell Green was built in the late 1980s, and comes under the postal code of SO18 3xx.

Townhill Park House is a Grade II listed former manor house between the neighbouring housing estates of Townhill Park in Southampton and Chartwell Green in Eastleigh.

The main school occupies Townhill Park House and its grounds. It was founded in Southampton in 1901 and has more than 300 pupils and staff. The Gregg School is not a fully academically selective school. Selection is made through an entry assessment and references from the student's previous school.

Southampton Airport Parkway railway station is on the South West Main Line located in the south of Eastleigh in Hampshire, England, 74 miles 66 chains (120.4 km) down the line from London Waterloo. It is adjacent to Southampton Airport. The station has two platforms. One is on the western side with the line running northbound via Winchester, Basingstoke, Woking and Clapham Junction, towards London Waterloo (also having services via Basingstoke to Reading, Birmingham and the North West). The other line runs southbound towards Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Weymouth.
