Roblin Park is one of the original neighbourhoods of the Charleswood community in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is bounded by Roblin Boulevard to the North, Hartestone Road to the East, bisects the Harte Trail to the south and Scotswood Drive to the West. Charleswood was a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was created by redistribution in 1968, and formally existed from the provincial election of 1969 until that of 2019. The riding was in the westernmost tip of Manitoba's capital and largest city, Winnipeg. Charleswood was bordered to the east by Tuxedo and Fort Whyte, to the north by Kirkfield Park, and to the south and west by the rural riding of Morris. Charleswood's population in 1996 was 20,262. The riding's character is middle- and upper-middle class: in 1999, the average family income was $70,417, and the unemployment rate was 5.20%. Eleven per cent of the riding's residents are immigrants, with over half being of German origin. The service sector accounts for 15% of Charleswood's industry, with a further 12% in the retail trade and 11% in health and social sciences. Members of the Progressive Conservative Party represented Charleswood throughout its lifetime. Sterling Lyon was premier of Manitoba from 1977 to 1981 while representing Charleswood.

Carman Junction is a railway junction in the Canadian province of Manitoba to the west of Winnipeg. It is a link between Canadian National Railway's Rivers subdivision and the Central Manitoba Railway.

Charleswood Curling Club is located in the southwestern area of Winnipeg, in the community of Charleswood. The club was founded in 1946 as a three sheet rink, although expansion to five sheets was completed in 1956. It was the home club of the Jeff Stoughton team.

Kirkfield Park is a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was created by redistribution in 1979, and has formally existed since the provincial election of 1981. The riding is located in the westernmost tip of the City of Winnipeg. It contains the neighbourhoods of Glendale, Westwood, Kirkfield Park, Woodhaven, Birchwood, Booth, Silver Heights and part of Assiniboia Downs Kirkfield Park is bordered to the east by St. James, to the south and west by Charleswood, and to the north by Assiniboia. The St Charles and Glendale Country Clubs are in this riding, as are the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens and Assumption Cemetery. The riding's population in 1996 was 20,236. In 1999, the average family income was $63,038, and the unemployment rate was 5.80%. Almost 13% of the riding's population are immigrants, including 6% German and 5% Ukrainian. Over twenty per cent of the riding's residents are over 65 years of age. The service sector accounts for 15% of Kirkfield Park's industry, followed by 13% in retail trade. Since its creation in 1981, the seat has been nearly continuously held by the Progressive Conservatives. Previously it was won by the New Democratic Party only twice, in 2007 and 2011, until 2023 when the NDP's Logan Oxenham picked the seat up a third time after having originally been defeated in the previous year's by-election.

Robert Browning School is a French-immersion public elementary school in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Generally, students from this school passing to grade 6 attend École Ness (the only middle school in the St. James-Assiniboia School Division that has French immersion available) if wishing to continue with French immersion, otherwise they generally attend Lincoln Middle School which does not have French immersion.

Oak Park High School is a high school located in the Charleswood area of Winnipeg, Manitoba. It offers a dual-track English and French Immersion program. Oak Park also offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses and one of the most comprehensive fine arts programs in the province. The Oak Park Raiders have won 3 Manitoba High School Athletics Association titles over the past decade, the most in Winnipeg.

Varsity View is one of the original neighbourhoods of the Charleswood community in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and also a part of the Assiniboine South neighbourhood cluster. In 1946, there were fewer than a hundred houses in the neighbourhood, which was mostly forest and farm fields. The bulk of the construction took place after the city of Winnipeg amalgamated with the surrounding municipalities. From 1971 to 1980, nearly 390 homes were built, accounting for 35% of the total housing stock in community.
