Dallas Christian College (DCC) is a private Christian college in Farmers Branch, Texas. It is affiliated with the Christian Church and accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education.

Farmers Branch, officially the City of Farmers Branch, is a city in Dallas County, Texas, United States. It is an inner-ring suburb of Dallas and is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Its population was 28,616 at the 2010 census.Known as a "City in a Park" for its 28 parks in only 12 square miles, Farmers Branch is a small community in close proximity to Dallas, and has a business community that accounts for 80% of the city's tax base, allowing residents to have one of the lower city tax rates in Dallas County, while having dedicated city services and public safety. The city received media attention due to 2006 anti-illegal immigration measures and a law making English the city's official language. These measures were struck down by courts and/or repealed. In 2017, the community elected the city's first millennial mayor, Robert C. Dye. Under the mayor and council's leadership, the city has prioritized creating a more ethnically diverse community focused on leadership in education, sustainability, innovative commercial development, and smart city design.

The Asian Trade District (ATD) is a neighborhood in Northwest Dallas, Texas (USA). The area is recognized as the city's Koreatown, and has been designated as a special district since 1999. Located at the crossroads of Harry Hines Boulevard and Royal Lane, the district has been home to numerous Asian-owned businesses, wholesale retailers, and restaurants since the 1980s. With the arrival of Royal Lane Station on the DART Green Line in 2010, the area has become increasingly connected to the metropolitan area. The ATD includes over 21 shopping centers with more than 300 retailers.Three people were wounded in a shooting outside a Koreatown beauty parlor in May 2022. A suspect was arrested a few days later, and the shooting was thought to have racial overtones.

Located in Dallas, Texas, LCB Dallas is a branch of Texas Culinary Academy which is owned by Career Education Corporation under a licensing agreement with Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. All US Le Cordon Bleu College locations are scheduled to close in 2017.

The district covers most of the cities of Carrollton and Farmers Branch and parts of Addison, Coppell, Dallas, and Irving (including Valley Ranch and the Western part of Las Colinas). CFBISD has twenty-four elementary schools, six middle schools, five high schools, and three education centers. Recently, the school district began the process of Limited Open Enrollment, allowing students living outside the boundaries of the school district to apply to attend the district.In 2010 and 2011, the school district was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.
