River Lavant, West Sussex

Apuldram or Appledram locally is a small parish and a village on the northeastern upper reach of Chichester Harbour about two miles (3 km) south-west of the centre of Chichester in West Sussex, England. Access to the harbour is at Dell Quay. The nearest railway station is 1.2 miles (1.9 km) northeast of the village, at Chichester. Most of the parish is farmland, roughly bounded to the north by the River Lavant, to the west by the harbour and to the south by Chichester Marina and the Chichester Canal. The parish is crossed by several public footpaths, offering views of the harbour, cathedral and South Downs. There is now no village centre, and of the original medieval village only the church, the manor and Rymans now remain. The area of the parish is 1,073 acres (4.34 km2) and at the 2011 census the population was 169, a reduction of 9% from the 2001 census.

Fishbourne is a village and civil parish in the Chichester District of West Sussex, England and is situated two miles (3.2 km) west of Chichester. The Anglican parish of Fishbourne, formerly New Fishbourne, is in the Diocese of Chichester. The population in 1861 was 347. The parish church is dedicated to St Peter and St Mary.The civil parish has a land area of 387 hectares (956 acres). In the 2001 census 1,953 people lived in 840 households, of whom 910 were economically active. There are two public houses and a railway station.

Fishbourne Roman Palace or Fishbourne Villa is in the village of Fishbourne, near Chichester in West Sussex. The palace is the largest Roman residence north of the Alps, and has an unusually early date of 75 AD, around thirty years after the Roman conquest of Britain. Much of the palace has been excavated and is preserved, along with an on-site museum. The rectangular palace surrounded formal gardens, the northern parts of which have been reconstructed. Extensive alterations were made in the second and third centuries AD, when many of the original black and white mosaics were overlaid with more sophisticated coloured work, including the perfectly preserved Dolphin mosaic in the north wing. More alterations were in progress when the palace burnt down in around 270 AD, after which it was abandoned.

Fishbourne railway station serves the village of Fishbourne, West Sussex, England. It is 30 miles 12 chains (30.15 miles, 48.52 km) from Brighton.The London, Brighton and South Coast Railway (LB&SCR) opened the station at Fishbourne on 1 April 1906. It is located on the West Coastway Line that runs between Brighton and Southampton. The station is roughly half a mile walk from Fishbourne Roman Palace. Just east of this station at Fishbourne Crossing the single track veered off for the branch line between Chichester and Midhurst.

Bishop Luffa School, named after a former Bishop of Chichester, Ralph de Luffa, is a co-educational Church of England secondary school located in Chichester, West Sussex, England. The number of enrolled pupils was around 1,400 in 2010, in eight 'Year' house-forms and the sixth form. The school, formerly a 'Technology College', is now a 'CofE Teaching School', holding Leading Edge status, with national Artsmark and Sportsmark also having been awarded. From its foundation to 2013 the school was a Voluntary Aided establishment, on 1 December 2013 the school successfully converted to Academy status.

Chichester College is a college of further education in Chichester, West Sussex, England. It has a second campus at Brinsbury, near Pulborough. It is a member of the Collab Group which represents the largest colleges in England.Chichester College has over 20,000 students, of whom over 5,000 are full-time (about 4,000 are between 16 and 18 years old; 1,000 are over 19 and several hundred are taking university level courses). Donnington is a small village, ecclesiastical parish and civil parish in the Chichester district of West Sussex, England. The village lies on the B2201 road, 2 miles (3.2 km) south of the centre of Chichester, within the Chichester built-up area. The northern part of the parish comprises the Stockbridge area of the City of Chichester. The village lies on the Chichester Canal. The parish is also home to the Sussex Falconry Centre.

The West Sussex Record Office at Orchard Street, Chichester, is the county record office for the county of West Sussex. It is run by West Sussex County Council.

Chichester railway station is a railway station in the city of Chichester in West Sussex, England. It is 28 miles 51 chains (28.64 miles, 46.09 km) from Brighton.The station is located on the Brighton to Portsmouth line of the LBSCR. Passenger services are operated under the brand name West Coastway Line which runs between Brighton and Southampton. The station and all passenger services are operated by Southern. The station opened in 1846 and by the 1920's was listed in the top ten most prestigious Southern Railway stations due to royal use for Goodwood Racecourse race days. By the 1950's the station had become dilapidated and was demolished and replaced with the modern station, which re-opened in 1961. There used to be a branch line north to Midhurst and an additional two platforms which were up and down bay platforms at the west end of the station on the north side. An additional bay platform on the south side remains in situ but is disused.
