White Swan Park

On April 1, 1956, a Martin 4-0-4, registration #N40403, operating as TWA Flight 400, crashed on takeoff from Greater Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). Twenty-two of the 36 people aboard the aircraft, including one crewmember, perished in the evening crash on Easter Sunday.Flight 400 was to be an eastbound IFR flight from Pittsburgh to Newark International Airport (EWR) in New Jersey, with scheduled stops in eastern Pennsylvania at Harrisburg, Reading, and Allentown. On this particular flight, the first officer was in the left seat, as he was being line-checked by the captain; both pilots survived.

Robinson Town Centre is an expansive, open-air power center located near The Mall at Robinson in Robinson Township, Pennsylvania. Announced on June 28, 1987, and completed in 1988, it is situated nearly 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh along Interstate 376 (Parkway West) and Route 60. Robinson Town Centre spurred development of the shopping districts in the western hills of Allegheny County. The mall and town center serve as the main shopping district for residents of Pittsburgh's Airport Area. Both The Mall at Robinson and Robinson Town Centre are owned by Forest City Enterprises of Cleveland, Ohio. Other developments include The Pointe at North Fayette, Robinson Crossroads, Robinson Court, and Settlers Ridge. The first tenants at Robinson Town Centre included a Hills discount store, Children's Palace toy store, a Dahlkemper's catalog showroom, Sears appliances, Phar-Mor drug and discount store, Pappan's Family Restaurant, Sun TV, and OfficeMax, among other small retail stores. Marshalls, JoAnn Fabrics, and TJ Maxx are among the original tenants that still exist at the centre. This development also made way for the first IKEA store within a six-hour distance. Other tenants today include Ichiban Hibachi, HomeGoods, Kirkland's, and Famous Footwear.

Pittsburgh Technical College (PTC) is a private college in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The college, formerly Pittsburgh Technical Institute, opened in 1946 and has since expanded with more than 30 career-focused programs in ten schools. Bachelor's and associate degrees are awarded, in addition to certificate programs. Previously an employee-owned for-profit school, PTC became nonprofit in 2017 when it was purchased by the Center for Educational Excellence, Inc.

The Mall at Robinson is a super-regional shopping mall located just off the Parkway West (I-376) and PA Route 60 in Robinson Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, five minutes east of the Pittsburgh International Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Opened in October 2001, it consists of 872,000 square feet (81,000 m2) of retail space and sits on over 200 acres (0.81 km2). The mall is owned and managed by Kohan Retail Investment Group of Great Neck, New York. The mall sits adjacent to Robinson Town Centre, located in the center of a growing retail area that includes Settlers Ridge and The Pointe at North Fayette in North Fayette Township, Pennsylvania.

Imperial-Enlow was a census-designated place (CDP) in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States, for the 2000 census. The population at the time was 3,514. The 2010 census recognized two separate census-designated places, Imperial and Enlow. The CDP was located in North Fayette and Findlay townships.

899 Old Thorn Run Road in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, was built in 1814. The house was added to the List of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks in 1988.

Wings over Pittsburgh was an American Air show which took place at Pittsburgh International Airport in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Inaugurated in June 2000 the air show is one of the largest on the East Coast. Over the years the show has seen many unique displays from aircraft from all over the world. Some notable static displays include: Boeing P-8 Poseidon, Boeing C-17, Boeing KC-46 Pegasus, Boeing MV-22B Osprey, Boeing C-40 Clipper, Gulfstream C-37, Gulfstream C-20, Lockheed C-130T, Lockheed Martin KC-130, Beechcraft T-6 Texan and Beechcraft T-44A. Also, the 60th College Training Detachment (Army Air Forces Training Command) provided military training at the airfield.In recent years the air show has featured displays by the Blue Angels and the USAF Thunderbirds. In upcoming years it was announced of the possibility of commercial airliners being on display. The types of aircraft or possible airlines featured have not been released and the organizers will not say more on the subject.Over the almost 20 years of the event an estimated 1.5 million people have attended the air show the most being in 2005 with over 200,000 spectators.

Carnot-Moon is a census-designated place (CDP) in central Moon Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 13,151 at the 2020 census.
