At the 2001 census the municipality had a population of 13,425 inhabitants and a land area of only 0.78 km² (0.301 sq mi). Its population density of 17,211.5 persons/km² was the third highest in Spain (after Mislata and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat).

The Autovía V-31, commonly called Pista de Silla (Valencian: Silla road), is an autovía in Valencia, Spain. It is 13 km (8 miles) long and runs from the junction of the Autopista AP-7 and the Autovía A-7 near the small town of Silla to the Autovía V-30 on the southern outskirts of the city centre. Built as an upgrade of the N-332 road, which used to run through small towns in the Southern metropolitan area, it is frequently used by commuters and drivers travelling between Valencia and Alicante or Albacete.

Albal is a municipality in the comarca of Horta Sud in the Valencian Community, Spain. Albal is in the comarque of Horta Sud, at 10 km south from Valencia. The municipality limits with Catarroja, Beniparrell, Silla, Valencia and Alcacer. The climate is mediterranean, so winters are mild and summers are pretty warm. The origin of Albal is at the time the Muslims governed this part of Spain. Its name comes from 'Dry land' in Arab language. Population (2016): 16136. Economy: Industries of plastics, furniture, agriculture and construction of buildings. There are also a lot of good restaurants where you can taste the typical valencian food. The Casal España Arena is a multipurpose indoor arena currently in construction in Valencia, Spain.

Jesús is a station in the Metrovalencia network in the La Raiosa area of Valencia. It is served by line 1, line 2 and line 7. The station was opened on 8 October 1988, when Metrovalencia was created. On 3 July 2006, a serious crash, which killed 43 people, occurred between the station and Plaça d'Espanya station. On 12 December 2010, the station was renamed Joaquín Sorolla, after the painter and to reflect its proximity to the high speed train station Joaquín Sorolla which opened a week after the name change. The name change was opposed by opposition political parties and residents groups, who considered it an attempt to forget the tragedy. Groups representing victims of the crash also criticised the name change, pointing out that the Joaquín Sorolla name would be more appropriate for the 2 metro stations, Bailén and Xàtiva, which were closer to the high-speed station. They requested that the name be altered to Jesús-Joaquín Sorolla. In February 2012, Valencia city council unanimously adopted their suggestion, changing the name to Joaquín Sorolla-Jesús. On 30 June 2016, the station reverted to its original name to mark the tenth anniversary of the metro accident.
