Admiral Lord Nelson School

Moneyfields Football Club is a football club based in Portsmouth, England. Affiliated to the Hampshire FA, they were founded in 1987 as Portsmouth Civil Service, before adopting their current name in 1994. The club are currently members of the Wessex League Premier Division and play at the John Jenkins Stadium.

Copnor is an area of Portsmouth, England, located on the eastern side of Portsea Island. The population of Copnor Ward at the 2011 Census was 13,608. As Copenore, it was one of the three villages listed as being on Portsea Island in the Domesday book. In the late 19th, early 20th century the rapid expansion of Portsmouth saw the original village engulfed. The west of the district is now a predominantly residential area of 1930s housing. The east of the district is an industrial and commercial area. It was originally intended to have a railway station; an intermediate station between Havant and Portsmouth Town stations when the railway line opened. However, this never materialised, in spite of the large gap between stations, and the existence of a signalled level crossing for many years, replaced by a bridge in 1908. A road, "Station Road" was laid out, and still exists, however construction on the station never began. Copnor's unbuilt railway station was also to have been the interchange station for the short-lived Southsea Railway (1885-1914), but the station was ultimately opened in 1885 at Fratton instead.Portsmouth Airport was located in the north east of the district. After a number of accidents, the airport was closed in 1972. The land has subsequently been used for further commercial development and a housing development called Anchorage Park. The area has been home to Admiral Lord Nelson School since the mid 1990s.Not to be mistaken as a part of Hilsea, another Portsmouth district, Copnor Road passes through Hilsea as well as through Copnor itself. Copnor is one of the smaller districts of Portsmouth.

The A2030 is a road in Hampshire. The road starts off at junction 5 of the A3(M), near the village of Bedhampton. The road then runs west along the base of Portsdown Hill, following the old route of the A27 into Portsmouth until it reaches the Drayton area.It then turns sharply south directly between Drayton and Farlington, and begins to run down towards the main areas of Portsmouth on Portsea Island. Just before crossing onto Portsea Island is a busy junction with the current A27.From here it winds its way across Portsmouth, changing names a number of times, before terminating at a junction with the A3 in Portsmouth City centre. Being one of only three roads between Portsea Island and the mainland, it is always busy and often becomes congested during rush hours.

Portsmouth Airport, also known as Portsmouth City Airport, PWA (Portsmouth Worldwide Airport) and Hilsea Airport, was situated at the northeast Hilsea corner of Portsea Island on the south coast of England and was one of the last remaining commercial grass runway airports in the United Kingdom.

Hilsea railway station is a railway station on Airport Service Road, Hilsea, Portsmouth, England serving the northern end of Portsea Island, including a large industrial estate nearby. The station was once the closest to Portsmouth Airport, which was closed in 1973. It is located on the Portsmouth Direct line which runs between London Waterloo and Portsmouth Harbour. There were extensive sidings at Hilsea during World War II. This railway station is mainly used by commuters who work in nearby Anchorage Park industrial estate. Only stopping trains call here. The station is unmanned. Historically, during the Battle of Havant, Hilsea was the terminus of an omnibus link from Havant New, just east of Havant. When the Portsmouth Direct Line had been constructed by the LSWR, at the request of the residents of Portsmouth, it was necessary that trains run from the Portcreek Junction railway triangle, to Havant Junction, along track owned by the rival LBSCR. The latter firm refused to allow that and engaged in militant obstruction of the track to prevent the running of a through train service for several months. The road that crosses over the railway line and station at Hilsea is named Norway Road after the novelist and aeronautical engineer, Nevil Shute Norway.

Baffins is an administrative district of Portsmouth, England, located on the eastern side of Portsea Island. The district is mainly composed of 1930s housing. The population of the Baffins ward at the 2011 Census was 15,121. Before the area became developed for housing, it had been occupied by a farm of the same name. This farm (known as Bavins Farm) had a history stretching back to the 12th century. The only surviving remnant of the rural past is Baffins Pond and the adjoining Tangier Field - a large open space between Baffins Pond and Portsmouth College at the eastern end of the field.

The City of Portsmouth College was formed in August 2021 from a merger between Highbury College and Portsmouth College, creating a new, combined educational institution with four campuses in Portsmouth. The primary campus of the college is Highbury Campus and is located in central Cosham.
