Five Oaks Museum, formerly known as the Washington County Museum, is a history museum in Washington County, Oregon, United States. It is located at the Rock Creek campus of Portland Community College (PCC), north of Beaverton, Oregon. From 2012 to 2017, its public exhibit space was located in downtown Hillsboro, Oregon, before it was moved back to PCC, its pre-2012 location and where the museum's research facility had already been located. Opened in 1975, the museum is operated by the Washington County Historical Society with a mission of preserving the history of the area. The museum's site at PCC's Rock Creek Campus also includes a research library and is home to the original Washington County Jail built in 1853.

Westview High School is a public high school in Portland, Oregon, United States, in the Beaverton School District. It opened in 1994 and its first graduating class was in June 1996.

Bethany is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Washington County, Oregon, United States. It is situated north of U.S. Route 26 near Beaverton, approximately four miles northwest of Cedar Mill, and is within the Portland metropolitan area.

Rockcreek is a census-designated place in Washington County, Oregon, United States, north of U.S. Route 26. It is named for the Rock Creek neighborhood in the area. As of the 2010 census, the CDP population was 9,316.

Founded in Minnesota in 1999, the company moved to the Portland metropolitan area where it remained until it completed a reverse merger with Sajan, Inc. in 2010. MathStar never made a profit after raising $137 million over the lifetime of the company, including via several stock offerings while the company was publicly traded on the NASDAQ market. The company's only product was a field programmable object array (FPOA) chip.

Oak Hills is a census-designated place (CDP) and neighborhood in Washington County, Oregon, United States. The CDP population was 9,050 at the 2000 census. It is on unincorporated land north of Beaverton, west of Cedar Mill, and south/southeast of Bethany. The CDP is roughly bounded by the Sunset Highway on the south, West Union Road on the north, Northwest 174th Avenue on the west, and Northwest 143rd Avenue on the east. The U.S. Postal Service has assigned Beaverton addresses to the area. Fire protection and EMS services are provided through Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue.The Oak Hills neighborhood is substantially smaller than the CDP, and is contained within the area bounded by Cornell Road on the south, West Union Road on the north, Bethany Boulevard on the west, and Northwest 143rd Avenue on the east. It was a planned community and was built in the 1960s. The first ten homes were completed in May 1965, the first of about 650 planned, in an area of approximately 250 acres (100 ha). Oak Hills today includes around 650 residences, of which 627 are single-family homes. It is managed by the Oak Hills Homeowners Association (OHHA). The neighborhood was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013, as the Oak Hills Historic District.

Kaiser Westside Medical Center is a hospital in the Tanasbourne neighborhood in Hillsboro in the U.S. state of Oregon. Opened in August 2013 with 126 hospital beds, the Kaiser Permanente facility is planned to later expand to 174 beds. It was designed by Ellerbe Becket Architects and Petersen Kolberg & Associates Architects/Planners. The $220 million hospital includes Kaiser's Sunset Medical Office that opened in 1987 on the west side of the Portland metropolitan area.

Enli Health Intelligence was a privately held software company based in Beaverton, Oregon, and previously in Hillsboro, Oregon. Founded in 2001 as Kryptiq Corporation, the company specialized in electronic medical records and secure communications between physicians and patients. The 125-employee company was purchased by Surescripts in 2012, which was a previous investor in the company. Annual revenues at the time of the sale were approximately $25 million. In January 2015, the company announced that it was splitting from Surescripts and becoming independent again. Later in 2015 it was renamed Enli Health Intelligence later. In 2021, it was acquired by Cedar Gate Technologies, which discontinued use of the Enli name.

West Union is an unincorporated community in Washington County, Oregon, United States. Founded in 1851, the community had the first school district in the county; it also contains the oldest cemetery in the state and the oldest Baptist church west of the Rocky Mountains. It is located north of Hillsboro near the intersection of West Union Road and Cornelius Pass Road north of the Sunset Highway. The name comes from a grove of five oak trees that was used as a meeting place of early settlers, or the "union of the west." West Union had a post office from 1874 to 1894.

The Streets of Tanasbourne is an outdoor shopping mall located in the Tanasbourne area of Hillsboro in the U.S. state of Oregon. Opened in October 2004, the center provides shopping to the Hillsboro/Beaverton area west of Portland, near the Sunset Highway. The $55 million center is an open-air complex designed to mimic older downtown shopping districts and has 55 store locations.

Tanasbourne, Oregon, is a neighborhood in Washington County, Oregon, where NW 185th Avenue and the Sunset Highway (part of U.S. Highway 26) intersect. It is located within the Portland metropolitan area. The area sits between Beaverton and Hillsboro, and is generally considered to be south of U.S. 26, north of Walker Road, west of 158th, and east of Cornelius Pass Road. Adjacent to Aloha and part of the West Metro region, Tanasbourne has many shopping areas and is the former home of the defunct Tanasbourne Mall.

Magnolia Park is a municipal park in the Tanasbourne neighborhood of Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. Opened in 2008, the 3.11 acres (12,600 m2) community park is off northwest 102nd avenue between Walker and Cornell roads near The Streets of Tanasbourne shopping center. The park includes a basketball court, children's play equipment, picnic shelter, tennis court, and water fountain designed for cooling among other amenities.
