Freilichtspiele Altusried is an open-air theatre in Altusried, Bavaria, Germany. Since its foundation in 1879, practically all actors and actresses are lay actors from the village Altusried. In 1999 a professional stage was built for the theatre with an audience capacity of 2500.

Rottach (also: Große Rottach) is a river of Bavaria, Germany. It is a left tributary of the Iller at Kempten. Note that there is another river also called Rottach 18 kilometres upstream which is a right tributary of the Iller.

First settlements in the current boundaries of the municipality are documented for the district Ermengerst in 1037, for Wiggensbach itself in 1182. In 1888, the Wiggensbach treasure was found, its coins were dated back to the first to third century A.C. This proves the early settlement of humans in the area.
