Campo Verde High School (CVHS) is a public high school located in Gilbert, Arizona, United States. It was built in 2009 and is part of the Gilbert Public Schools district. The school accommodates grades 9–12, and in 2018, the school had a student body of 2,091. Campo Verde's colors are Dark Green and Copper and the teams are collectively called the Coyotes. The school is a member of the Arizona Interscholastic Association's 5A - San Tan Conference and competes in Division I and II sports.The overarching philosophy of the high school is to promote an environment that sparks creativity, inspires innovation, embraces the principles of citizenship, and fosters an atmosphere of lifelong learning. It sits at the core of a 500-acre (2.0 km2) project that, upon planned full build out, will encompass 3,000,000 square feet (280,000 m2) of retail, restaurants, entertainment, office space, residential and hotel uses. It was the last mall to be developed by Westcor and is still owned by Macerich. The mall features the traditional retailers Macy's, Dillard's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble in addition to a 16-screen Harkins Theatres. The SanTan Village Marketplace, located south of the mall, is an urban village mixed with many other retail and restaurant areas designed for urban shopping.

Higley was an unincorporated community in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. Higley's ZIP code was 85236 until 2007, when the U.S. Postal Service decided to abolish it for physical addresses, the 85236 ZIP code, however, remains in use for P.O. Box addresses at the Higley post office, located on Ray Road. As of 2010, almost all of Higley has been annexed into Gilbert or the neighboring cities of Mesa and Queen Creek. All that officially remains of Higley as an independent community is the school district, Higley Unified School District, however, some remaining commercial buildings in and around the original townsite are still standing and operate as small businesses.

The Ford Championship is a women's professional golf tournament held in Gilbert, Arizona, United States as part of the LPGA Tour. A new event in 2024, it is hosted at Seville Golf and Country Club.

Higley High School is a high school in Gilbert, Arizona, United States. It is one of two high schools run by the Higley Unified School District. On December 9, 2022, Higley's Varsity Football team led by Head Coach Eddy Zubey defeated Cactus 41-21 to capture the 5a State Championship. Their First in School History.On May 11, 2018, Higley's Varsity Boys Volleyball team led by Head Coach Andrew Yamashiro defeated American Leadership Academy – Queen Creek 3–2 to capture the 5A State Title.

The Higley Unified School District #60, abbreviated HUSD #60 is a school district in Gilbert, Arizona. The school district serves portions of Gilbert and Queen Creek. It is one of Arizona's fastest growing school districts, with modest continued growth despite the downturn in the economy at the end of the 2000s (decade). The District owns two preschools, nine elementary schools, two middle schools, two high schools, and one virtual academy. In August 2013, the district opened two new middle schools and all other elementary schools that hosted grades K-8 went down to K-6.
