Mogeely (Irish: Maigh Dhíle) is a village located in County Cork, Ireland. As of the 2016 census, it had a population of 389 people.Mogeely lies in East Cork, approximately 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) north of Castlemartyr off the N25 national primary road. Mogeely railway station was, until it closed in the 1970s, a stop on the Cork to Youghal railway line. The nearest train station is now Midleton railway station. Located within a largely rural area, Mogeely hosted the National Ploughing Championships in 2005. Local employers include the Dairygold Co-Operative Society, which operates two cheese processing plants in the area.The Pine family, originally English, were the main landowners here from the 1580s to the early 1700s. Henry Pine was granted Mogeely under Queen Elizabeth I, holding it as a tenant of Sir Walter Raleigh. During the serious disturbances in Munster in 1598, he fled back to England, but later returned to Mogeely. His grandson, Sir Richard Pyne, was Lord Chief Justice of Ireland from 1695 to 1709. Their home, Mogeely Castle, no longer exists.

As of the 2016 census, the area had a population of 658 people.The village of Ladysbridge lies at the junction of the R632 and R633 regional roads, approximately 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) south of Castlemartyr. Ladysbridge, sometimes spelled Lady's Bridge, is also connected to Castlemartyr via a way-marked nature trail. This walking route crosses the nearby Womanagh River on a pedestrian bridge.Ightermurragh Castle is a 17th-century fortified house which is located on the south bank of the Womanagh River approximately 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) east of Ladysbridge village. Within the village itself, a number of buildings date from the 19th century, including the former national school (dated 1891) and Ladysbridge Roman Catholic church (dated to c.1820). This church, which is dedicated to Saint Mary, is in the parish of Ballymacoda and Ladysbridge and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cloyne. The local GAA club, Fr. O'Neill's GAA, represents the same parish area.A monument in the centre of the village commemorates the Manchester Martyrs, one of whom was from the Ladysbridge area.

It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star for each year in the period 1975–1980. The Michelin Guide awarded the restaurant the "Red M", indicating 'good food at a reasonable price', in the period 1981–1994. The Egon Ronay Guide awarded the restaurant one star in the periods 1975–1981, 1983-1984 and 1987–1988.The kitchen style of Ballymaloe House is Modern Irish. In 1964 the Allen family, who had purchased the Ballymaloe estate, converted the old dining room into a restaurant. They named the restaurant The Yeats Room. In 1967 the first few rooms were converted into hotel rooms, to accommodate guests who liked to stay. Later still the Ballymaloe Cookery School was established. In the time Ballymaloe House was awarded the Michelin star, Myrtle Allen was the head chef. Dervilla O'Flynn is currently head chef. Dervilla is married to Myrtle Allen's Grandson Sacha Whelan.

It is run by Darina Allen, a celebrity chef, cookery book author and pioneer of the slow food movement in Ireland. The school is located within the grounds of an organic farm.

The club draws its support from Churchtown South, Ballycotton, Garryvoe and Shanagarry itself. It competes in competitions organised by Cork county board and the Imokilly divisional board.

Dungourney (Irish: Dún Guairne, meaning 'Guairne's fort') is a village in County Cork, Ireland on the R627 regional road 9 km (5.6 mi) northeast of Midleton. The river Dungourney flows through the village. St. Peter's National School is located in the centre. There is a church in the west of the village and a post office across the road. There are several roads linking to Midleton, Castlematyr and Tallow.

The R629 road is a regional road in southeast County Cork, Ireland. It travels from the R630 road at Ballinacurra's grotto, southeastwards through Kearney's Cross and Cloyne (where it turns eastwards), past Ballymaloe House and Shanagarry, into Ballycotton. The statutary definition gives it as beginning at the R907 in Midleton, but all maps and other material assign the Midleton–Ballinacurra stretch to the R630 instead.
