Old Greenwich is an affluent coastal village in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 6,611.The town of Greenwich is one political and taxing body, but consists of several distinct sections or neighborhoods, such as Byram, Cos Cob, Glenville, Mianus, Old Greenwich, Riverside and Greenwich (sometimes referred to as central, or downtown, Greenwich). Valbella is an Italian restaurant in the Riverside section of Greenwich, Connecticut with sister locations in Midtown Manhattan and the Meatpacking District, Manhattan. Regulars included Joe Torre, "almost the entire Yankees team" and Regis Philbin. Philbin was a Saturday night regular for 22 years and when he passed away, they left his regular table empty in his honor.Wine Spectator awarded them with a Best of Award of Excellence.On December 20, 2009, there was a fire that caused them to close for a month for repairs.

The Gustavus and Sarah T. Pike House is a historic house at 164 Fairfield Avenue, in the southwestern section of the city of Stamford, Connecticut is a Queen Anne style house built in 1880. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. It is architecturally significant as a good example of a Queen Anne style house in Stamford, and also an excellent example of pattern book application. The building follows a pattern book design by H. H. Holly. It includes machine-made spindle and other detailing that only then became cost-effective with then-modern manufacturing.

The Spire School is a private, co-educational college preparatory day school in Stamford, Connecticut, for students in grades 6–12. Spire is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and is a Connecticut State-Approved Special Education School. Spire is owned and operated by the Greenwich Education Group, which also operates Links Academy and The Pinnacle School, both of which are located in Stamford, Connecticut.The Spire School provides customized instruction for intellectually capable students who are struggling with executive functioning challenges, depression, anxiety, ineffective coping skills and other emotional issues. The Spire School supports its students with an emphasis on self-care through use of effective coping skills, exercise, nutrition and academic empowerment.

The Southfield Village was a housing project in Stamford, Connecticut. It was also known as "The V" by individuals living in that area. The area had been denoted by Stamford Police as "the most dangerous subsidized housing complex in Stamford."

The Feake–Ferris House (also known as the Ross Ferris House) at 181 Shore Road in Old Greenwich, Connecticut was purportedly built around 1645 and was expanded over time to its present saltbox shape. The house was tested by dendrochronologists at Columbia University's Lamont–Doherty Earth Observatory. The client, Greenwich Point Conservancy (GPC), has not yet released the results of the study, but claims that the west side of the house dates to circa 1645, the north lean-to addition made by Jeffrey Ferris to 1660, and the east side and expansion of the lean-to the James Ferris expansion of 1689. According to the Conservancy, as reported in Greenwich Free Press, the outermost rings of one summer beam dated to 1610, but due to the lack of sapwood in the sample, the precise date of the beam is unknown (but possibly 1640 or perhaps the 1680s). Historian Missy Wolf researched the land's title history dating back to Feake.

The International School at Dundee is a magnet elementary school in Riverside, Connecticut, United States. The school belongs to the Greenwich Public Schools system and serves roughly 366 students. It also participates in the International Baccalaureate program, and was the first school in Connecticut to be IB authorized. In 2012 it was one of five Greenwich public schools to be in Connecticut's list of top-performing schools.

St. Catherine of Siena is a Roman Catholic church in the Riverside section of Greenwich, Connecticut. It is now part of the Parish of St. Catherine of Siena and St. Agnes within the Diocese of Bridgeport. St. Catherine´s has an annual carnival for one week in June or July.

The Riverside Avenue Bridge is the only cast-iron bridge in Connecticut and one of a small number still in use in the United States. It carries Riverside Avenue over the New Haven Line railroad tracks in the Riverside section of Greenwich, Connecticut. The bridge was part of an earlier span built in 1871 over the Housatonic River by the New York and New Haven Railroad, and when that bridge was replaced, part of it was erected in Riverside in 1895. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.Called "an important engineering landmark" by Cultural Resource Management, a periodical published by the National Park Service, the bridge carries one of the primary streets in this section of town, and is owned by the Connecticut state government.
