The Diocese of Cheyenne (Latin: Dioecesis Cheyennensis) is an ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church that encompasses the entire state of Wyoming. It is suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of metropolitan Archdiocese of Denver. The cathedral and mother church is St. Mary's Cathedral, located in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The Boeing United Airlines Terminal, Hangar and Fountain in Cheyenne, Wyoming were built for Boeing Air Transport between 1929 and 1934. The Louis Sullivan-influenced designs form a consistent theme in a time when Cheyenne Municipal Airport was a major air transport facility. The 1930 hangar was designed by Cheyenne architect Frederic Porter, Sr. The 1934 Art Deco fountain was designed as a memorial to early aviation history.The hangar was designed by Fredric Porter, Sr.

The Mabel Fincher School, at 2201 Morrie Ave. in Cheyenne, Wyoming, is an Art Deco-style building which was built in 1940. It has also served as the Triumph High School. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.It is a one-story L-shaped building. It was designed by Frederick Hutchinson Porter.

The Capitol North Historic District in Cheyenne, Wyoming is a 20.4 acres (8.3 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.The district is roughly bounded by E. 29th, and E. 25th St., Warren and Pioneer Avenues. It included 112 contributing buildings, a contributing structure, and two contributing objects.Located near to the Wyoming State Capitol and other state buildings, it includes mostly frame construction cottages built for the middle to upper class market. It includes numerous houses where governors, judges, and other professionals have lived, including for example the Governor Leslie Miller Home on the 200 block of W. 26th St. Included in the southwest corner of the district is Gilchrist Park.

Storey Gymnasium, also known as Cheyenne High School Gymnasium, was built in 1950 on the campus of Central High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States. The brick gymnasium was designed by Cheyenne architect Frederic Hutchinson Porter to include additional functions associated with the school's ROTC program, with an armory, rifle range and drill halls in addition to classrooms, shops and music spaces. The contractor was Loren Hancock, who built it at a cost of $646,611.66. It was named for William Storey, a member of the school Board of Trustees. When East High School was built in 1965 the facility was shared between East and Central.The two-story brick building measures about 240 feet (73 m) by 180 feet (55 m). It features plain surfaces and uninterrupted horizontal lines without ornamentation beyond horizontal brick features in the upper portion. The center section houses a gymnasium illuminated by glass block windows set in a clerestory. It seated 4,500 for basketball when it first opened and is still in use for sporting events, circuses, graduation ceremonies, and other special events. Storey Gymnasium was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 22, 2005.In September of 2016, the gymnasium seating was replaced with all black seats.

The Castle on 19th Street or 19th Street Castle is a Mission Revival style house in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It was built in 1914 for local businessman Thomas Heaney, who operated the Atlas Theatre in Cheyenne. Heaney also operated the Tivoli Bar and Restaurant and became a Wyoming state senator representing Laramie County. Heaney's residence features a three-story corner tower with a broad overhanging tiled and hipped roof, with a stucco parapet surrounding the remainder of the roof, ornamented with projecting crests. A loggia with three arches fronts the house, ornamented with projecting squared beams. The driveway goes through the leftmost arch, flanked by a retaining wall, on its way to the rear of the house. The interior was converted for apartments.The Castle was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 10, 1979.

The Moreton Frewen House, at 506 E. 23rd St. in Cheyenne, Wyoming, also known as the Everett V. Hall House, was built in 1881. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.It is significant for its association with stockman Moreton Frewen, and also as a well-preserved historic house.

The Lakeview Historic District is a residential historic district in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The neighborhood was one of Cheyenne's original neighborhoods when the city was platted in 1870; most of the homes in the district were built between 1880 and 1930. Most of the neighborhood's residents were working-class, and many of them worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. Before 1900, most homes built in the district had simple Italianate, Queen Anne, or vernacular designs. American Foursquare and bungalow houses became popular in the 20th century as those styles gained prominence nationally.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 5, 1996. It includes the Moreton Frewen House, which is separately listed on the National Register.

The Cheyenne High School at 2810 House Avenue in Cheyenne, Wyoming is a Late Gothic Revival-style building which was built in 1921. It has also been known as Central High School and as Laramie County School District No.1 Administration Building and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.It is a three-story Collegiate Gothic style building which is 250 by 220 feet (76 m × 67 m) in plan. Its walls are reinforced concrete with brick faces. It was designed by architect William Dubois and built by contractor John W. Howard.The school district served was eventually split up.
