Fontainebleau High School is a public high school located in unincorporated St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, United States, north of Mandeville. The school is a part of the St. Tammany Parish Public Schools. The school serves Abita Springs, Covington, and a small section of Mandeville. It previously served much of Lacombe.

Tulane University and LCMC announced on October 10, 2022, that LCMC would purchase Tulane Medical Center (along with Lakeview Regional Medical Center, and Tulane Lakeside Hospital) from HCA for $150 Million.

Mandeville is a city in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, United States. Its population was 11,560 at the 2010 U.S. census, and 13,192 at the 2020 United States census. Mandeville is located on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain, south of Interstate 12. It is across the lake from the city of New Orleans and its southshore suburbs. It is part of the New Orleans–Metairie–Kenner metropolitan area.

Abita Springs is a town in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 2,365 at the 2010 census, up from 1,957 in 2000. It is part of the New Orleans–Metairie–Kenner Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Abita Springs Historic District, in Abita Springs in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, is a 162 acres (66 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It included 180 contributing buildings.It is roughly bounded by North, Cypress, Laurell, Highway 36, Eighth, Sixth, Seventh, St. Mary and Third Streets and the Abita River.It includes Colonial Revival, Stick/eastlake, Queen Anne architecture. The town was developed as a vacation refuge for middle class residents of New Orleans. Most residences are in walking distance to the Abita River and the springs which were the original attraction of the town, churches, the commercial district and train depot. It includes a large number of turn-of-the-20th-century shotguns and North Shore type houses, many with Eastlake or Colonial Revival-style porches. There are some more substantial Queen Anne and Colonial Revival buildings, which are "few in number and are in no way extravagant", and which feature porches as well.

The Abita Mystery House is a roadside attraction and self-guided folk art showcase located in the heart of Abita Springs, Louisiana, United States. It was created and is maintained by artist/inventor John Preble, whose inspiration came from the Tinkertown Museum in New Mexico, it offers thousands of folk art objects ranging from encased interactive miniatures, to pottery, to Louisiana-themed sculptures like Darrel the Dogigator (half alligator, half dog) and Edmond the Allisapien (half alligator, half homo sapiens). Originally called the UCM Museum till its official name change in 2007, the house entrance is a vintage gas station, with filling pumps and bright decor, which leads to open air sections, the main exhibition hall, a ninety-year-old Creole cottage, and the House of Shards, among other attractions. The Mystery House is unique in that it bears a particularly odd aesthetic, drawing alternative crowds with an eye for the strange. John Bullard, director of the New Orleans Museum of Art, has even gone as far as saying that the Abita Mystery House is the "most intriguing and provocative museum in Louisiana."

St. Tammany Regional Airport (FAA LID: L31) is a public use airport in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is owned by St. Tammany Parish and located six nautical miles (11 km) southeast of the central business district of Covington, Louisiana. The nearest town is Abita Springs.

The Abita Springs Pavilion, at the northwestern end of Main Street in Abita Springs in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, was built in 1888. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.It is a Victorian-style bandstand pavilion which is 52.6 feet (16.0 m) in diameter and 46 feet (14 m) tall and was built by Poitivent and Farve in 1888. The 1975 National Register nomination noted that "At one time there was a long wooden foot bridge that went to the upper level. Railings that went around the upper level are now missing and should be replaced." and "The Springs themselves were cemented over by the State and should be opened. (The Pavilion is built over the Springs.)"

The Johnson House, in Mandeville in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, was substantially built c.1915, redeveloping from a c.1890 predecessor. It is located three blocks from Lake Pontchartrain. It has been marketed as an event venue, Maison Lafitte, with phrase "circa 1880".It is a "mansion" on a "lush" 1.3 acres (0.53 ha) property.It was purchased in about 1915 by Thomas Johnson and his wife Mary Celeste, who maintained homes in New Orleans and Mandeville, and who developed it in Mediterranean Revival and/or Craftsman style. It was home to Johnson descendants until 2001.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The Dew Drop Social and Benevolent Hall, in Mandeville, Louisiana, was built in 1895. It was home of the 1885-founded mutual assistance/social organization, the "Dew Drop Social and Benevolent No. 2 of Mandeville". it served as a meeting hall and as the venue for dances.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.It is located on the 400 block of Lamarque St. in Mandeville.It was deemed significant "as a major center of social life for African-Americans in the Mandeville area. It is also of significance within southern Louisiana as a rare surviving African-American benevolent association hall. Because all available evidence indicates that the building's heyday as a social center and benevolent association hall ended c.1940, that date is being used to end the period of significance."
