Liberty Bend Bridge

River Bend is a village in Jackson County, Missouri, United States. The population was 3 at the 2020 census. It is the only part of Jackson County that lies north of the Missouri River. In 1951, the Missouri River was relocated to a new channel, creating River Bend, (also known as Liberty Bend). The county line still follows the original riverbed. It is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The mayor is Alex Dockler.

Union forces unsuccessfully attempted to prevent pro-Southern Missouri State Guards from northwestern Missouri from crossing the Missouri River near the confluence with the Blue River to reinforce Sterling Price at Lexington.

The Liberty Arsenal, known by Federal authorities as the Missouri Depot was a United States Army arsenal at Liberty, Missouri in Clay County, Missouri. The depot was seized twice by Southern partisans, once during the Kansas troubles in 1855, and again shortly after the outbreak of the American Civil War. It was located generally west of the junction of Missouri Route 291 and old 210 Highway.

KWJC (91.9 FM) is a classical music station operated by the University of Missouri-Kansas City. The station covers much of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Between 1974 and 2006, KWJC was a conventional college radio station, operated by William Jewell College in suburban Liberty, Missouri, with a student staff. After that time, KWJC aired the national K-LOVE and Air1 formats from the Educational Media Foundation. When EMF bought a Kansas City translator (K300CH 107.9) and relocated Air1 there, KWJC went temporarily silent on May 31, 2019. The medal is the country's highest honor awarded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Nebo Hill Archeological Site is a prominent former river bluff located in Liberty, Missouri. It has one of the highest elevations in Clay County. One source states the hill is named after the family who owned the property in the 1900s, while according to another source the name is a transfer from Mount Nebo in Jordan.

Lazy Branch is a stream in Jackson County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of the North River. Lazy Branch was so named by W.C. Dingle, because he "thought the settlers along the stream lazy because they preferred to hunt and run horses rather than work."

Odd Fellows Home District is a national historic district located at Liberty, Clay County, Missouri. It encompasses three contributing buildings, one contributing site, and four contributing structures associated with an institutional home and hospital. The district developed between about 1900 and 1935, and representative examples of Tudor Revival and Jacobethan Revival architecture. The contributing buildings are the Administration Building, the Old Folks Building (1907-1908), and the Old Hospital (1923). Also on the property is the historic Odd Fellows Home Cemetery.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
