Dirgantara Mandala Museum, officially known as the Central Museum of Indonesian Air Force "Dirgantara Mandala" is a central museum of the Indonesian Air Force. The museum displays historical exhibits related to the history of the Indonesian Air Force. The museum is located in the complex of Adisutjipto International Airport in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Dirgantara Mandala Museum has a comprehensive collection of aviation in Indonesia, from early biplanes to modern jet engines.

Adisutjipto (or Adisucipto) Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Adisutjipto) (IATA: JOG, ICAO: WAHH) is an airport serving the Yogyakarta area on the island of Java, Indonesia. It was formerly the principal international airport serving this area. The airport is located in the Sleman Regency, in the Yogyakarta Special Region, on the north-east outskirts of the city, near the Prambanan historic temple site. The airport is approximately 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from the city centre. Adisutjipto Airport was once the fourth busiest airport in the region of Java–Bali, after Soekarno–Hatta International Airport (CGK) in Jakarta, Juanda International Airport (SUB) in Surabaya, and Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Bali. It has one runway, with dimensions of 2,200 metres (7,200 ft) by 45 metres (148 ft). The number of passengers flying through Adisucipto International Airport in Yogyakarta, throughout 2016 increased by approximately 13 percent compared to 2015. 7.2 million passengers were recorded in 2016 whereas in 2015, the number was 6.38 million. All jet-powered flights were relocated to the new international airport on 29 March 2020.

The Polytechnic Institutes of Nuclear Technology, Indonesia (Indonesian: Politeknik Teknologi Nuklir, Poltek TN) is a state polytechnic under auspices of National Research and Innovation Agency (Indonesian: Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional, BRIN). It was originally founded as Indonesian State College of Nuclear Technology of National Nuclear Energy Agency of Indonesia (Indonesian: Badan Tenaga Nuklir Nasional, BATAN) (Indonesian: Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Nuklir - Badan Tenaga Atom Nasional, STTN-BATAN), the primary training facility of BATAN. After BATAN dissolution, the polytechnics inherited by BRIN. It officially renamed as Politeknik Teknologi Nuklir (Poltek TN) on 30 October 2021. Since its foundation in 1985, the polytechnic had graduated more than its 1300 graduates, which many of its graduates absorbed into BATAN and BAPETEN (mostly), with few of its graduates went to academia, health institutions, industries, and other private sectors and entrepreneurs.It is one among a few of nuclear higher education institutions in Indonesia. Currently, Indonesia only had 4 places for nuclear higher education in Indonesia: Poltek TN, Gadjah Mada University, Bandung Institute of Technology, and State Intelligence College.

Maguwo Station (MGW) is a Class II airport railway station located in Maguwoharjo, Depok, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The station, which is located at an altitude of +118 meters, is included in the Operational Region VI Yogyakarta. It is the eastern and northernmost active station in Special Region of Yogyakarta, as well as the first airport railway station in Indonesia as it is located in front of Adisutjipto International Airport. Currently it has four railway tracks with lines 2 and 3 being straight lines. To the east of this station, before Brambanan Station, there was Kalasan Station which has been inactive since the operation of Kutoarjo–Solo Balapan double-track line. To support the double track operation on this route, the mechanical signaling system at this station was replaced with an electric signaling system by PT Len Industri (Persero) which had been installed since 2013 and then began operating on 1 October 2018.

Located in Jalan Laksda Adisucipto Yogyakarta and established in 2006, Plaza Ambarrukmo consists of 7 (seven) floors divided into a shopping area with more than 230 tenants and a parking area that can accommodate 1,000 cars and 1,400 motorcycles. Plaza Ambarrukmo is built with a blend of classical Javanese architectural concepts and modern interior design. Plaza Ambarrukmo has several exhibition venues on the Lower Ground floor, Ground Floor, 2nd Floor, and 3rd Floor. Plaza Ambarrukmo is also supported by 24 hour security system and CCTV located inside and outside the building.

The Affandi Museum is a museum located in Yogyakarta on Java, Indonesia. On the bank of the Gajah Wong River on Laksda Adisucipto Street number 167, in 1953 the painter Affandi designed and constructed a home for himself which also functions as a museum to display his paintings, inaugurated on 15 December 1973. His house complex is consist of his private house on stilts, a gallery with his retrospective works, a gifted gallery from the former president Soeharto in which exhibit his sketches and archives of his voyages throughout india, Europe, NorthAmerica and SouthAmerica, a three level Building consists of a family and publicly open for rent gallery, a restoration studios, and a basement storage, a semi-open space for public area and a painting Studio for visitors. All the buildings is uniquely constructed, with a roof that resembles a banana leaf. The museum has around 250 of Affandi's paintings. The high air humidity and temperature are causing concerns about the condition of the paintings. The Affandi Foundation, which manages the museum, finds it difficult to manage the museum properly, due to a lack of funds and revenue.Before dying, Affandi spent a lot of time sitting around in his own museum, observing his paintings. He said once, “I want to die in simplicity without giving anyone unnecessary trouble, so I could go home to Him in peace.” After suffering a complication of illnesses, on Wednesday, the May 23, 1990, Affandi died. He is now buried in the museum complex, as he wished to always be surrounded by his family and his works.

Gembira Loka Zoo is a zoological garden located in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Gembira Loka Zoo was opened in 1956 and comprises a botanical garden, orchid nursery, artificial lake, children's park, numerous bridges across the Gajahwong River, and a collection of approximately 470 animals, most notable of which are its Komodo dragons, orangutans, gibbons, and hippopotamus. The park is 54 acres in size.In 2019, a zone called Zona Cakar (Scratch zone) has opened, focusing on carnivores, especially cats.Gembira Loka Zoo has received many new animals from various countries, such as six African penguins from Singapore Zoo and eight lesser flamingos from Tanzania.Gembira Loka Zoo added 12 meerkats and a pair of African lions from Batu Secret Zoo on May 9, 2021.
