Fakenham and Dereham Railway Society

County School railway station is on the Mid-Norfolk Railway in Norfolk, England; it will serve the villages of North Elmham and Guist once services resume. It is 17 miles 40 chains (28 km) down the line from Wymondham and is the northernmost station owned by the Mid-Norfolk Railway Preservation Trust. The station was a stop on the Wymondham to Wells Branch, which closed to passengers in 1964; it was also the western terminus of the East Norfolk Railway branch to Wroxham, which closed in 1952. The line from Dereham is being restored gradually by the Mid-Norfolk Railway.

Watts Naval School was originally the Norfolk County School, a boarding school set up to serve the educational needs of the 'sons of farmers and artisans'. The school was later operated by Dr Barnardo's until closure in 1953.

North Elmham Castle, also known as North Elmham Bishops Castle and North Elmham Bishops Chapel, is a ruined castle in the village of North Elmham, in the county of Norfolk, England.

North Elmham is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 7.41 sq mi (19.2 km2) and is located about 5 mi (8.0 km) north of East Dereham, on the west bank of the River Wensum. Including Gateley, the civil parish had a population of 1,428 in 624 households at the 2001 census; this increased slightly to 1,433 at the 2011 census. North Elmham was the site of a pre-Norman cathedral, seat of the Bishop of Elmham until 1075. For the purposes of local government, it lies within the Elmham and Mattishall division of Norfolk County Council and the Upper Wensum ward of Breckland District Council. The village is located along the B1145, a route which runs between King's Lynn and Mundesley.

Bintry Watermill is located on the River Wensum, about a mile (2 km) west of the village of Bintree in the English county of Norfolk. The watermill is thought to have stood at this location since 1454. The present mill is thought to date from the 1750s.

North Elmham railway station served the village of North Elmham in the English county of Norfolk. The station was part of the Wymondham to Wells Branch (1849 - 1989) and is part of a section of the line being restored by the Mid-Norfolk Railway from Dereham to County School.

Worthing is a small village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Hoe and Worthing, in the Breckland district, in the county of Norfolk, England. The civil parish of Worthing is now merged with that of the neighbouring village of Hoe, though the ecclesiastical parishes are still separate (see below). In 1931 the parish had a population of 120. On 1 April 1935 Worthing was abolished and merged with Hoe, the renamed parish is now called "Hoe and Worthing".

Sennowe Hall (also known as Sennowe Park) is a large country house and estate located near the village of Guist in Norfolk, England. The clock tower, the house and the stables, all located in a landscaped park, are Grade II* listed buildings. Sennowe Hall was originally a Georgian house built in 1774 by Thomas Wodehouse who had inherited the estate from his aunt Mary Bacon in 1760. It was sold by his son Edmond Wodehouse MP in 1850 and was subsequently owned by the Morse-Boycott family, who had it re-built by Decimus Burton. It then passed into ownership of the lighting engineer Bernard Le Neve Foster. The estate was bought in 1898 by Thomas Albert Cook, a grandson of Thomas Cook, the founder of the Thomas Cook and Son travel agency. He commissioned the Norwich architect George Skipper to remodel and considerably enlarge the house. The house and its surrounding estate are still owned by his descendants. The hall was the main filming location for The Tragedy at Marsdon Manor, an episode of the television series Agatha Christie's Poirot.

Guist () is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 6.80 km2 (2.63 sq mi) and had a population of 242 in 102 households at the 2001 census, including Twyford and increasing slightly to a population of 250 in 110 households at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the Upper Wensum Ward of Breckland District Council and the Elmham and Mattishall Division of Norfolk County Council. The villages name means 'Gaega's/ Gaegi's dwelling' A large part of the village belongs to the Sennowe Park Estate as does all the surrounding land. The estate belongs to the descendants of Thomas Cook who bought it in 1898. At the crossroads of the A1067 and the B1110 is the estate Clock Tower, a distinctive landmark of the area. The old 1930 bridge on the B1110 to North Elmham was replaced by an eco friendly new bridge in 2002. On the village green is an example of a brick kiln. The medieval church of St Andrew contains a "Green Man" carving on the pulpit. Twyford House is a Grade II listed manor house on the edge of the village. The local pub is called The Ordnance Arms, where they have an adjacent Thai restaurant. As well as this business, the village also has a number of prospering farms in and around the local area.

Spong Hill is an Anglo-Saxon cemetery site located south of North Elmham in Norfolk, England. It is the largest known Early Anglo-Saxon cremation site. The site consists of a large cremation cemetery and a smaller, 6th-century burial cemetery of 57 inhumations. Several of the inhumation graves were covered by small barrows and others were marked by the use of coffins. Extensive excavations of the Early Anglo-Saxon cemetery and part of the associated settlement revealed evidence of Early Prehistoric occupation on the hill top, dating from the Mesolithic to the Early Bronze Age. Excavation of the Anglo-Saxon cemetery also revealed extensive occupation evidence: late Iron Age and Roman enclosures and field boundaries, an early Roman kiln, and a small settlement of 'sunken huts' and post-hole buildings possibly contemporary with the cemetery.

The B1110 runs for about 19 miles (31 km) between Holt and Dereham, and is entirely within the county of Norfolk. The road is a link between the A148 and the A47 at the town of Dereham.

Robertson Barracks, formerly RAF Swanton Morley, is a military installation near Swanton Morley in Norfolk. It is home to 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards and is set to close in 2029.
