Le Gardeur station

Le Gardeur was a former town in southwestern Quebec, Canada that is now a district of the city of Repentigny. It was merged with Repentigny as part of the 2002 municipal reorganization in Quebec.It is on the L'Assomption River in the Regional County Municipality of L'Assomption and is connected to Montreal by Route 138, Autoroute 40, and Via Rail on the Canadian National rail line. The rural parish of Saint-Paul-l'Ermite was established in 1856. The municipality of the same name was created in 1973 over part of the original territory. It changed its name to Le Gardeur five years later. (Pierre Le Gardeur, Sieur de Repentigny, was the region's first feudal lord, under letters-patent granted in 1647 to the Compagnie des cent associés.) The parish and its church are still active. Le Gardeur's main population is concentrated near the L'Assomption River in the southernmost part of the city, bordering the rest of Repentigny, and the Saint Lawrence River. The northern part is mostly farmland, and is being developed as a suburban area. This is where the March 2006 announced AMT Repentigny-Mascouche Line commuter train that began service in December 2014 turned off the existing Canadian National line onto its own right of way heading towards Terrebonne.

Repentigny station is a commuter rail station operated by Exo in Repentigny, Quebec, Canada, a suburb north of Montreal. It is served by the Mascouche line.The station possesses a single side platform, although two rails pass through it; the second is used for non-stopping main line traffic. The platform is a high-level platform, a feature shared only with Gare Centrale, Terrebonne, and Mascouche stations on the commuter train network. The platform runs along Rue Ricard, underneath a viaduct carrying Quebec Autoroute 40. There are three exits. A short staircase exits from the south end of the platform onto Rue Ricard; a walkway passes from the north end of the platform under Boul. Pierre-Le Gardeur to a small parking lot on Place des Roseaux; and the main parking lot and bus loop are located on the east side of the tracks on Boulevard Lacombe. The station features an enclosed overhead bridge passing over the tracks to the main parking lot, with stair and elevator access. As a result, the station is wheelchair-accessible. The east side of the structure features an artwork by Nicolas Baier, L'Arbre de la gare.

Repentigny (French pronunciation: [ʁəpɑ̃tiɲi] ) is an off-island suburb of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located north of the city on the lower end of the L'Assomption River, and on the Saint Lawrence River. Repentigny and Charlemagne were the first towns off the eastern tip of the Island of Montreal. Repentigny is part of the Lanaudière region.

Terminus Repentigny is a bus terminus served by Réseau de transport métropolitain (RTM).

Église Notre-Dame-des-Champs de Repentigny is a church located in Repentigny, a suburb of Montreal, Quebec. It was completed in 1963. The building was the work of architect Roger D'Astous (a student of Frank Lloyd Wright) and is located close to the previous church of the same name which was built in 1725.The building has a statue of Christ on the cross which was sculpted by Médard Bourgault as well as a sculpture donated to the church by Rose-Anne Monna.The church is nicknamed “The Bag” after its unusual shape, which is said to be fashioned after King David's lyre or praying hands.

Charlemagne (pronounced [ʃaʁləmaɲ]) is a city in the Province of Québec, Canada, on the north shore of the Rivière des Prairies, 24 kilometres (15 mi) northeast of the city of Montréal’s downtown core. As of 2021, the population was 6,302. Charlemagne is, famously, the birthplace and childhood hometown of world-famous singer Céline Dion; the town council named one of its main streets after her without the recognition of a Québec commission. Additionally, the town erected a sculpture on Dion's behalf. Charlemagne is also the birthplace of politician Camille Laurin.

The Assomption River (in French Rivière l'Assomption, named after the Assumption of Mary) is the most important waterway in the Lanaudière region of Quebec, Canada. It is over 200 kilometres (120 mi) long, and has a drainage basin (watershed) of 4,220 square kilometres (1,630 sq mi). Its source is the Mont Tremblant massif. Seven significant rivers flow into the Assomption (de la Boule, Versailles, Noire, la Chaloupe, Ouareau, Saint-Esprit, and Achigan) before it flows into the Rivière des Prairies at Repentigny, Quebec. About 150,000 people live in the drainage area of this river.

The Cégep régional de Lanaudière is a Cégep, made up of three constituent colleges in Joliette, L'Assomption and Terrebonne, located in Quebec, Canada.As of early 2014, there are over 2,500 students at the Joliette constituent college and over 1,700 at the L'Assomption and Terrebonne constituent colleges respectively. Admissions at the L'Assomption college are handled by the Service régional d'admission du Montréal métropolitain (or SRAM; eng: City of Montreal regional admission services).The Cégep régional de Lanaudière is a member of the Société de formation et d'éducation continue (or SOFEDUC; eng: Society for training and continuing education). The current director general of the Cégep régional de Lanaudière is Marcel Côté, who has held this position since 2011.

Repentigny is a provincial electoral district in the Lanaudière region of Quebec, Canada, that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It consists of the municipality of Saint-Sulpice and part of the city of Repentigny. It was created for the 2012 election from part of the L'Assomption electoral district.

Terrebonne station is a commuter rail station operated by Exo in Terrebonne, Quebec, Canada. It is served by the Mascouche line.Despite its name, it is located some 9 km from the town centre of Terrebonne, instead serving the district of Lachenaie, a former municipality that was merged with Terrebonne in 2001. The station is located on the median of Quebec Autoroute 640. It possesses a single track and a single side platform. The platform is a high-level platform, a feature shared only with Gare Centrale, Repentigny, and Mascouche stations on the commuter train network. The station has a single exit, reached via an enclosed overhead bridge passing over the eastbound autoroute lane to reach the main parking lot, with stair and elevator access. As a result, the station is wheelchair-accessible. The parking lot and adjacent bus loop are reached from Boulevard Marcel-Therrien. An artwork by Patrick Coutu, an aluminum and stainless steel sculpture entitled Myriade, stands in the parking lot near the station entrance.

Lachenaie was an off-island suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada on the Rivière des Mille-Îles. It is now part of the city of Terrebonne, and is in the Regional County Municipality of Les Moulins. In 2001, the population was 21,709.

Repentigny is a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1997. It consists of the Regional County Municipality of L'Assomption, except the city and parish of L'Épiphanie.
