The Madison County Courthouse is a courthouse in Huntsville, Arkansas, the county seat of Madison County, built in 1939 by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works (FEA). It is a three-story masonry structure, its exterior finished in glazed brick with limestone trim. It has restrained Art Deco styling, including pilasters between its central window bays, and blocky limestone archways framing its entrances. It was built in 1939 with funding from the Federal Emergency Administration, and is the city's finest example of Art Deco architecture. Located within the Huntsville Commercial Historic District, the courthouse is a culturally significant landmark for both its architectural style and historical importance because of its association with the FEA. It was because of this dual significance that the property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

It covers an area three blocks by two, extending east–west between Hughes and Harris Streets, and north–south between War Eagle and Church Streets. Most of the buildings in the district were built after fires swept through the town in 1902 and 1925, although the Madison County Courthouse is an Art Deco structure built in 1939. The War Eagle Creek Bridge is a historic bridge in northern Madison County, Arkansas. It carries County Road 1650 across War Eagle Creek northeast of Huntsville, and just north of creek crossing of United States Route 412. The bridge is a two-span open-spandrel concrete arch bridge, with a total length of 206 feet (63 m). Each arch spans 70 feet (21 m), and they are mounted on concrete abutments and a central pier. Built in 1925–26, it is the county's only known surviving example of this bridge type.The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The community of Old Alabam is about one mile south at the intersection of Highway 127 and U.S. Route 412. Alabam is on a broad ridge between War Eagle Creek to the southwest and the Kings River to the northeast.

Withrow Springs State Park is a 786-acre (318 ha) public recreation area with campgrounds and hiking trails located five miles (8.0 km) north of Huntsville, Arkansas, that serves as a put-in for float trips on War Eagle Creek.
