Braemar Hill (Chinese: 寶馬山; Jyutping: bou2 maa5 saan1) is a hill with a height of 200 metres (660 ft) south of Braemar Point on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. The hill was likely named after the Scottish village of Braemar by British officials. Contrary to popular belief, the peak of Braemar Hill lies on the eastern end of Braemar Hill Road instead of the western end, where the ascent towards Red Incense Summit is noticeably steeper. Hikers often misidentify Red Incense Summit and nearby hilltops as the peak of Braemar Hill. The north and western sides of this hill are largely residential, consisting primarily of private upmarket real estate. Because of its convenient location and high real estate prices, Braemar Hill is considered one of the more affluent neighbourhoods in the city.

Chun Chu Temple (Chinese: 崇珠佛社; pinyin: chóng zhū fó shè; Jyutping: sung4 zyu1 fat6 se5; Cantonese Yale: sung4 jyu1 fat6 se5) is a Buddhist and Taoist temple located in 1B Kai Yuen Street, North Point, Hong Kong. Chun Chu Temple was constructed in 1955, founded by a community of Hakka and Hainan people living in North Point, including Lam Wing Fai (藍榮輝) and Li Yuk Yuen (李鈺圓). During the 1950s to 1970s It is believed to be affiliated to the Kai Yuen Mansion (1930s-1970s) and its residents, the Chan Wai Chow (陳維周) family. The Chan Wai Chow family was an influential family which included notable people such as Chen Ji Tang (陳濟棠) a senior general of the Nationalist Chinese army, who at 1929-1936 was also the governor of the Guangdong province; Seaker S.K. Chan (陳樹渠), a doctorate graduate of Colombia University, and founder of many schools in Hong Kong including Chan Shu Kui memorial school , Po Leung Kuk Madam Chan Wai Chow Memorial School (now Chan's Creative School). Currently, the Chun Chu Temple is a registered temple recognized by the Chinese Temples Ordinance, with around 300 disciples in total.

Kai Yuen Street (Chinese: 繼園街) is a street in North Point, Hong Kong, that goes up Kai Yuen Hill. It is a historically rich street, once serving as the main access road to Kai Yuen, the influential Chan Wai Chow (陳維周) family's mansion. Kai Yuen was demolished in the late 1970s. Currently it is mainly a residential area with high rise apartments such as Bedford Gardens on the west side, and 5–7-storey Mid-Century apartments on the east side.

Choi Sai Woo Park (Chinese: 賽西湖公園) is an urban park located near the top of Braemar Hill at Braemar Hill Road, Hong Kong. The park serves as a social hub for the neighbourhood.

Tsat Tsz Mui Road (Chinese: 七姊妹道; pinyin: Qīzǐmèi Dào; Cantonese Yale: chat1 ji2 mui2 dou6; lit. 'Seven Sisters Road') is a road in Tsat Tsz Mui in Hong Kong. The road runs in the area of Tsat Tsz Mui and eastern North Point from west to east, parallel to King's Road, except disjoint by a residential-commercial complex of Island Place.

Healthy Village is a public housing estate and Flat-for-Sale Scheme estate in Tsat Tsz Mui, Hong Kong, developed by the Hong Kong Housing Society. It is divided into 3 phases and located at Tsat Tsz Mui Road (Redeveloped Phase 1, flat for rental and sale), King's Road (Redeveloped Phase 2, flat for sale) and Pak Fuk Road (Redeveloped Phase 3, flat for rental) respectively. It consists of 14 residential blocks (4 for Phase 1, 3 for Phase 2, 7 for Phase 3) completed between 1965 and 1997.

Tanner Hill Estate (Chinese: 丹拿山邨) was a rental housing estate for low-income families on Tanner Road, North Point, Hong Kong, developed by the Hong Kong Housing Society.

Shanghainese people in Hong Kong have played an important role in the region since 1949. "Shanghainese" is a term that refers to both the Wu Chinese language and the Han Chinese subgroups from the city of Shanghai and the peoples of the Jiangnan (Lower Yangtze Delta) region in Hong Kong more broadly, particularly those with ancestral homes in parts of southern Jiangsu (Kiangsu), northern Zhejiang (Chekiang) and Anhui provinces. While a relatively small portion of the population compared to the Cantonese majority, Shanghainese people and their descendants have had a tremendous influence on the economy of Hong Kong helping transform the colony from a trading outpost into a global manufacturing and shipping hub. Shanghainese émigrés also had a major contribution to the cinema of Hong Kong, beginning with an exodus of filmmakers and actors fleeing the violence of the Second Sino-Japanese War and continuing after the Communist takeover of the Mainland.

North Point Camp was a Japanese World War II Prisoner-of-war camp in North Point, Hong Kong which primarily held Canadian and Royal Naval prisoners.

North Point (Chinese: 北角; pinyin: Běijiǎo; Cantonese Yale: Bākgok) is a station on the Hong Kong MTR Island line and the western terminus of the Tseung Kwan O line, located in North Point on Hong Kong Island. The livery of the station is tomato orange. The interchange between the Island line and the Tseung Kwan O line is a cross-platform interchange.
