Brighton Allston Congregational Church, known before 2003 as the Brighton Evangelical Congregational Church, is a historic church located at 404 Washington Street in the center of Brighton, a neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts.

The Brighton Center Historic District encompasses the civic center of the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The district is centered at the junction of Washington Street with Market Street and Chestnut Hill Avenue, radiating along those roads and including a number of immediately adjacent properties on adjacent streets. The oldest resource in the district is the Market Street Burial Ground, which was established in 1764. Originally part of Watertown and Cambridge in colonial times, Brighton was incorporated as a separate town in 1807 and annexed to Boston in 1874. The center area became a focus of the regional cattle business during the 19th century, but little of that time has survived, with only a small handful of buildings pre-dating 1875. The local cattle yards were removed in 1881, and the center developed as a place to provide community services, resulting in a series of commercial buildings on Washington Street and a collection of municipal and civic structures along Market Street and Chestnut Hill Avenue.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Eddie Pellagrini Diamond is a baseball stadium at the Harrington Athletics Village located in Boston College in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

The Harrington Athletics Village is a sports complex located on the Brighton Campus at Boston College in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. The complex currently consists of the Eddie Pellagrini Diamond, which is home to the Boston College Eagles baseball team; the Boston College Softball Field, which is home to the softball team; and the Pete Frates Center, which is an indoor practice facility and hospitality area for the baseball and softball teams.

Saint John's Seminary, located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, is a Catholic major seminary sponsored by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. Founded in 1884, the seminary has 114 seminarians and approximately 60 lay students, mostly from dioceses in New England. The current rector is Fr. Stephen E. Salocks.

The Boston College School of Theology and Ministry (STM) is a Jesuit school of graduate theology at Boston College. It is an ecclesiastical faculty of theology that trains men and women, both lay and religious, for scholarship and service, especially within the Catholic Church.Boston College's School of Theology and Ministry and Theology Department ranked 10th among universities worldwide in Theology, Divinity, and Religious studies in the 2020 QS World University Rankings. It was one of two Catholic institutions, along with the University of Notre Dame, in the top 10.

Oak Square is a former station on the Green Line A branch. It was closed in 1969 when service on the branch was replaced with buses.

Oak Square School is a historic school building at 35 Nonantum Street in Brighton, Massachusetts, a neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The school was designed by Edmund March Wheelwright, who designed a wide variety of Boston landmark buildings. It was built in 1894 on the site of Breck Gardens and had a major addition in 1923. When it closed in 1981, it was the last wood schoolhouse in Boston. It was converted to housing in 1984.It was designated a Boston Landmark by the Boston Landmarks Commission in 1979 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Charles River Reservation Parkways are parkways that run along either side of the Charles River in eastern Massachusetts. The roads are contained within the Charles River Reservation and the Upper Charles River Reservation, and fall within a number of communities in the greater Boston metropolitan area. The Charles River parks extend from the Charles River Dam, where the Charles empties into Boston Harbor, to Riverdale Park in the West Roxbury neighborhood of Boston. Most of the roadways within the parks are listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a unit, although Storrow Drive and Memorial Drive are listed as part of the Charles River Basin Historic District. The other roadways, listed in 2006, extend from Harvard Square to Newton Upper Falls. The roads on the river banks were improved at the beginning of the 20th century to provide a continuous route through the park.

The North Beacon Street Bridge is a bridge carrying North Beacon Street (U.S. Route 20) over the Charles River between Watertown, MA and Brighton, Boston, MA. It was built in 1917.The southern end of the bridge is also at the western terminus Birmingham Parkway (and the extension of Soldiers Field Road, not built until 1935, itself an extension of Storrow Drive), while its northern end is at the western terminus of Greenough Boulevard, an extension of Memorial Drive. The North Beacon Street carried by this bridge is not the same street as the well-known Beacon Street in Boston.

On January 25, 1971, a luxury condominium building under construction at 2000 Commonwealth Avenue in Brighton, Boston, Massachusetts, collapsed, killing 4 construction workers and injuring 30 others.: 176–183 

South Street station is a light rail surface stop on the MBTA Green Line B branch, located in the median of Commonwealth Avenue east of South Street in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. South Street is the lowest-ridership stop on the B branch, with just 214 daily boardings by a 2011 survey.Track work in 2018–19, which included replacement of platform edges at several stops, triggered requirements for accessibility modifications at those stops. By December 2022, design for South Street and four other B Branch stops was 30% complete, with construction expected to last from fall 2023 to mid-2024.
