Kincaid Lake

Kincaid Lake State Park is a park located near Falmouth, Kentucky in Pendleton County. The park encompasses 850 acres (340 ha) surrounding Kincaid Lake. In 1960 the park had changed its name to Falmouth Lake State Park, but the residents felt the name should go back to Kincaid for historical reasons. So in 1969 the name was finally changed back to Kincaid Lake State Park. In 1961 the dam to impound Kincaid Creek was constructed, and in 1963 the park was open to the public and whoever wanted to visit. From 1960 through 1967, progress became Kincaid, and they added a beach, bathhouse, boat docks, picnic areas, camp sites, and hiking trails. The park has 850 acres, with a gift shop and 84 campsites. There is a nine-hole golf course as well as a pool. Recreational activities include boating, fishing, miniature golf, hiking, and swimming.

Lenoxburg is an unincorporated community in Bracken and Pendleton counties, in the U.S. state of Kentucky.

The Sheehan House, at 206 N. Maple St. in Falmouth, Kentucky, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Built around 1870 on the Bullock lot at Maple & Shelby, the house was moved to the 206 N. Maple St. site in 1893 and placed on a stone foundation. It had a five-bay facade with a full-length front porch with turned posts and machine cut trim. Its south facade had a bay with bracketed cornice. Sheehan bought the house from Bullock heirs in 1919 and was owner of a feed and grain business at the foot of Maple Street. The house appears no longer at the location.

Charity's House, at 108 Montjoy St. in Falmouth, Kentucky, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Deemed notable in black history, it was home of Charity Southgate, from whom most of black population in Falmouth descended. She bought the lot in 1845 after gaining her freedom from slavery, and built this house soon after. It was in the Happy Hollow neighborhood. She built several other houses on the block for her children and grandchildren. The house no longer is on the site.

The Elzey Hughes House was a building located at 308 Second Street in Falmouth, Kentucky. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It was built for Elzey Hughes, a son of Charity Southgate and was significant as one of the few remaining buildings of Falmouth's segregated black district, Happy Hollow.

The Bishop House in Falmouth, Kentucky, at 200 4th St., was built in 1880 to serve as a residence and store. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It was deemed notable as a good example of a late 19th century eclectic vernacular frame house. Its original owner was Bemard H. Piening, about whom not much is known.

The Leslie T. Applegate House, at 410 Maple St. in Falmouth, Kentucky, was built in 1888. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is a Shingle Style house which was built for locally prominent lawyer Leslie T. Applegate. Its exterior has been restored to its original appearance. It was deemed to be the "best example of late 19th century residence on Maple Street (site of early Falmouth 'suburb') with integrity intact".

Falmouth is a home rule-class city in, and the county seat of, Pendleton County, Kentucky, in the United States. The population was 2,169 according to the 2010 census. It lies at the confluence of the South and Main forks of the Licking River and is home to Kincaid Regional Theatre.

Bachelors Rest is an unincorporated community located in Pendleton County, Kentucky, United States. According to tradition, the community was so named for the bachelors who would congregate and socialize at the local country store.

Pendleton County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2020 census, the population was 14,644. Its county seat is Falmouth. The county was founded December 13, 1798. Pendleton County is included in the Cincinnati-Middletown, OH-KY-IN Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Flower Town was an unincorporated community in Pendleton County, Kentucky, United States.

Bethel Cemetery is a cemetery at the intersection of US 27 and KY 17 approximately 5 miles north of Falmouth, Pendleton County, Kentucky, at the site of the former Bethel Church. The historic frame church stood at this intersection since its dedication in 1881. The original pews were still in the building and volunteers had recently restored the church when it was destroyed by a tornado in 2015. The land for the church and cemetery was donated by the estate of William J. Bradford. The Bethel Church was named a Kentucky Landmark in April 2008. The Bethel Cemetery board hoped to have the building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. John Rarreick (1844–1904) an Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor Recipient, is buried at this cemetery. Also, Private Coleman Reed Asberry (1780–1859), a veteran of the War of 1812, and several veterans of the American Civil War, World War I and World War II are buried in this cemetery.
