The Henry W. and Ida Frost Dorman House is a 2-story, Neoclassical house in Caldwell, Idaho, designed and constructed in 1910 by local builder Lem Harding. The Dormans occupied the house from 1910 until 1919, when it was purchased by three doctors and refitted as a private hospital, the Caldwell Sanitarium. When the sanitarium closed in 1949, the house was donated to the P.E.O. Sisterhood for renovation as a "chapter house" or retirement home for members.

Vallivue High School is a four-year public secondary school in Caldwell, Idaho, United States, and one of two traditional high schools in the Vallivue School District. Opened 61 years ago in 1963, the school's campus is between Caldwell and Lake Lowell on the corner of Montana and Homedale roads. The current principal is Shane Carson. The school colors are brown and gold to represent the school's rich agricultural tradition, and its mascot is a falcon.

Gem State Adventist Academy or just Gem State Academy is a private, Seventh-day Adventist high school located in Caldwell, Idaho. Gem State Adventist Academy is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second largest Christian school system.

St. Mary's Catholic Church is a red brick, Italianate Romanesque Revival building designed by Tourtellotte and Hummel and constructed by H.J. McNeel in 1925 in Caldwell, Idaho. The church features an 80-ft tower, and the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.Originally intended as the Church of the Immaculate Conception, the building was known as St. Mary's Catholic Church by 1930 or earlier.The church was designed to seat a congregation of 300 persons, and it remained in service as a Catholic building until 2003, when larger Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church opened in Caldwell.

Caldwell High School four-year public secondary school in Caldwell, Idaho, the only traditional high school in the Caldwell School District #132. The building is on South Indiana Avenue near the corner of Ustick Road, across from the local YMCA. The school colors are blue, white, and gold and the mascot is a cougar.

The Caldwell Carnegie Library in Caldwell, Idaho, also known as the Caldwell Veterans Memorial Hall, was constructed from a grant by the Carnegie library foundation. The building opened in 1914 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places June 18, 1979. Its modest, 1-story Renaissance design is credited to Charles Carroll Soule and features reading rooms on either side of the main entrance. The building also includes a full basement with lecture hall.

The John C. Rice House is a 2-story, Queen Anne style house constructed in 1896 in the Washington Heights neighborhood, afterwards relocated to 2121 College Ave> of Caldwell, Idaho. The house features an octagonal turret at the south end of a wraparound porch, a gable roof, and (originally) a lava rock foundation. In 1904 a cement sidewalk was constructed from the Rice House to downtown Caldwell, a distance of approximately 16 blocks. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) May 27, 1980, and would have been part of the Steunenberg Residential Historic District, established in 2002, but it was relocated and substantially altered sometime after its listing on the NRHP.

Carrie Adell Strahorn Memorial Library at the College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho, was designed by Boise architects Wayland and Fennell as a 1-story, Neoclassical structure. The building opened in 1926 and served the college as a library until 1967 and the opening of Terteling Library. In 1968 the building was renamed Strahorn Hall, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The College of Idaho (C of I) is a private liberal arts college in Caldwell, Idaho. Founded in 1891, it is the state's oldest private liberal arts college and has an enrollment of over 1,000 students. The college's alumni include eight Rhodes Scholars, three governors, four professional football players, and one professional baseball player. Its PEAK Curriculum allows students to study in four knowledge areas - humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, and a professional field - and earn a major and three minors in four years.

The population was 59,996 at the time of the 2020 United States census, making it the 5th most populous city in Idaho.Caldwell is considered part of the Boise metropolitan area. Caldwell is the location of the College of Idaho.

Sterry Hall at the College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho, is a French Renaissance style building designed in 1909 by Boise architects Nisbet & Paradice and completed in 1910. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Blatchley Hall, on the campus of the College of Idaho in Caldwell in Canyon County, Idaho, was built in 1910. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It was deemed significant as a good "example of the Colonial revival" and for its association with the history of The College of Idaho.It was home of Henry and Carrie Blatchley, who donated 10 acres (4.0 ha) of land to the campus of the College of Idaho in 1916, with the hope that it would serve as the college president's home. Dr. William Judson Boone, who founded the college in 1891, lived there for a short time. It was later remodeled to serve as a Y.M.C.A. and then again later to serve as the college's music building and art gallery.
