The Parramatta Town Hall is a heritage-listed town hall located in the Greater Western Sydney suburb of Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia. Designed by Messrs Blackmann and Parkes in the Victorian Free Classical architectural style, the town hall was completed in 1883 at a cost of A£2,300 to serve as the town hall and municipal chamber for the Borough of Parramatta.. Parramatta Town Hall has undergone a recent upgrade, with the City of Parramatta carefully overseeing the adaptive reuse of the iconic building’s unique architectural charm and beauty, whilst adding contemporary touches that offer an air of modern comfort for this landmark venue. St John's Cathedral is a heritage-listed, Anglican cathedral in Parramatta, City of Parramatta, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. St John's was given the status of provisional cathedral of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney in 1969, and designated a Regional Cathedral in 2011 for the Western Region. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 5 March 2010.The current rector is Reverend Canon Bruce Morrison.

6 & 8 Parramatta Square is a skyscraper in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia, a centrepiece of the Parramatta Square development (located within the Greater Sydney region, approximately 24 km (15 mi) from Sydney City Centre). The building consists entirely of commercial office space, making up 120,000 square metres (1,300,000 sq ft) of floorspace, at a height of 225.45 metres (739.7 ft), making it the tallest building in Parramatta and outside the Sydney central business district. It was built in the Parramatta Square Development on plot 8 called PSQ8.

PHIVE also known as 5 Parramatta Square is a community, cultural and civic hub in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia designed by French architect Manuelle Gautrand. Characterized by its vibrant red and orange tessellated roof, it represents a significant investment in the city's infrastructure, with construction costs amounting to $136 million. Spanning six levels, PHIVE includes a range of facilities such as a new library, maker spaces, tech labs, sound studios, community meeting rooms, visitor services, and Council Chambers.

Parramatta metro station is a proposed station on the Sydney Metro West that will serve the Parramatta central business district. It is to be built within the block bounded by George, Macquarie, Church and Smith streets, to the north of the existing Parramatta railway station. An entrance is proposed to be built on Horwood Place, with other potential entrances still to be determined (as of March 2020). The metro station is anticipated to increase capacity at Parramatta railway station by relieving demand in peak times. It is scheduled to open with the rest of the line in 2032.

The Electoral district of Town of Parramatta was an electorate of the partially elected New South Wales Legislative Council, created for the first elections for the Council in 1843, at the time the principal residence of the Governor Sir Charles FitzRoy. Polling took place at Parramatta. In 1856, the unicameral Legislative Council was abolished and replaced with an elected Legislative Assembly and an appointed Legislative Council. The district was represented by the Legislative Assembly Parramatta, the only electorate to have existed continuously since the first Legislative Assembly election in 1856.

Roxy Theatre is a heritage-listed former theatre at 65–69 George Street, Parramatta, City of Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Moore & Dyer in association with Herbert & Wilson. It is also known as Roxy Spanish Theatre, Hoyts Roxy Centre, Village Roxy 3 and The Roxy. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Brislington is a heritage-listed former residence, inn, doctor's surgery, nurses' home and now museum at 10 George Street, Parramatta, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1819 to 1821 by John Hodge. Incorporated into the former Parramatta District Hospital for many years, it now serves as the Brislington Medical and Nursing Museum. The property is owned by the New South Wales Department of Health. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
