Milheeze (dialect: Milles) is a village in the Dutch province North Brabant. Milheeze is part of the municipality Gemert-Bakel. The village was first mentioned in 1332 as Milleis. The etymology is unclear. Milheeze developed in the Late Middle Ages around a chapel. The chapel was replaced by the St Willibrordus Church in 1844-1845 which was built on the foundations of the chapel.Milheeze was home to 579 people in 1840. The monastery Mariaoord was founded in Milheeze in 1935. The village was part of the municipality Bakel en Milheeze until 1966 when it was merged into Gemert-Bakel.

Bakel en Milheeze is a former municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It consisted of the villages Bakel, Milheeze, and De Rips. It has been a part of the municipality of Gemert-Bakel since 1997.

Deurne en Liessel is a former municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It contained the villages of Deurne and Liessel. Deurne en Liessel merged in 1926 with the municipality of Vlierden, to form the new municipality of "Deurne".The spoken language is Peellands (an East Brabantian dialect, which is very similar to colloquial Dutch).

Bakel is a village east of Helmond and Eindhoven in southern part of the Netherlands. The total population is approximately 5,000. Until 1997, it formed the municipality of Bakel and Milheeze together with Milheeze. In 1997 Bakel merged with the Gemert municipality.Bakel does not have old buildings, with the exception of the St Willibrordus Church which is the oldest in the area. This church was modernized during the 1970s, but regained some of the original style of decoration during the 1990s. The area surrounding Bakel is heavily forested; the agricultural economy is dominated by the bio industry. It has the highest pig density in the Netherlands.

Zaarvlaas is a hamlet in the municipality of Gemert-Bakel, North Brabant province of the Netherlands.Zaarvlaas is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Bakel. It has no place name signs and consists of a handful of houses.It was first mentioned in 1897 as Zaarvlaas, and means "sedge grass (carex) near a pond in the heath or forest".

Baarschot, a name that means "a high piece of land protruding into a swampy area", is a medieval hamlet on several higher Geests along the valley of the Astense Aa in the former municipality of Vlierden, the village area of which it is still a part administratively.

Raceway Venray, formerly known as Circuit de Peel, is a motorsport racing circuit in Venray, Netherlands. The track consists of a banked half mile oval with a flat quarter mile oval inside and features a karting track using portions of both along with dedicated sections. The track host its own local championships, national championships in cooperation with the Midland Circuit in Lelystad and Circuit de Polderputten in Ter Apel. The track is owned by Harry Maessen, a local business owner who is also involved in several other motorsports projects, including the BRL V6 and BRL Light series, Funpark Meppen and Acceleration 2014.

De Mortel is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Gemert-Bakel. The village is located about 19 kilometres (12 mi) north-east of Eindhoven.
