Bloomingdale is a village in DuPage County, Illinois, United States, settled in 1833, and 25 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. The population was 22,382 at the 2020 census.

The Indian Lakes Hotel is a resort located in Bloomingdale, Illinois. It opened in 1982 as Bloomingdale's only resort hotel. The hotel closed in 2021 due to a tragic mass shooting incident which revoked the hotel's license. The Indian Lakes property is currently under renovation to be reopened.

WSCR (670 AM) – branded 670 The Score – is a commercial sports radio station licensed to serve Chicago, Illinois, and the Chicago metropolitan area. Owned by Audacy, Inc., WSCR is a clear-channel station with extended nighttime range in most of the Central United States and part of the Eastern United States. WSCR is the Chicago affiliate for the BetQL Network, Infinity Sports Network, the Fighting Illini Sports Network and the NFL on Westwood One Sports; the flagship station for the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls radio networks; and the home of radio personalities David Haugh and Matt Spiegel. The WSCR studios are located at Two Prudential Plaza in the Chicago Loop, while the station transmitter is in suburban Bloomingdale, diplexed with co-owned WBBM. Besides its main analog transmission, WSCR transmits continuously over a single HD Radio channel using the in-band on-channel standard, simulcasts over the second digital subchannel of WBMX, and streams online via Audacy. Historically, this station carried the call letters WMAQ from October 1922 to August 2000. As the oldest surviving broadcast outlet in Chicago, it was co-founded and operated by the Chicago Daily News and became a charter affiliate of the CBS Radio Network upon their 1927 launch. Purchased by the National Broadcasting Company in 1931, WMAQ was a key station in the NBC Radio Network for nearly six decades, and later started affiliates WMAQ-TV (channel 5) and WMAQ-FM (101.1 FM). A sale to Westinghouse Broadcasting in 1988 resulted in WMAQ becoming an all-news radio station throughout the 1990s. Since 2000, the station has been the third in the Chicago market to use the WSCR call sign and "Score" branding, adopting a format that originated in 1992 on 820 AM, and was heard on 1160 AM from 1997 to 2000.

WBBM (780 kHz) – branded Newsradio 780 WBBM – is a commercial all-news AM radio station licensed to serve Chicago, Illinois. Owned by Audacy, Inc., its studios are located at Two Prudential Plaza in the Chicago Loop, while the station transmitter—diplexed with sister station WSCR—resides in the nearby suburb of Bloomingdale. WBBM is a Class A station that broadcasts on a clear-channel AM frequency, powered with 35,000 watts by day and 42,000 watts at night, using a non-directional antenna. Its daytime signal provides at least grade B coverage to most of the northern two-thirds of Illinois (as far south as Springfield) as well as large portions of Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan and Indiana. Its city-grade coverage reaches as far north as Milwaukee. At night, WBBM can be heard across much of North America under favorable conditions, but is strongest in the Midwest. In addition to a standard analog transmission, WBBM broadcasts over HD Radio using the in-band on-channel standard, is simulcast over WCFS-FM (105.9), and is available online via Audacy.

WLEY-FM (107.9 MHz) is a radio station licensed to Aurora, Illinois, serving Aurora, Chicago, Naperville, Joliet and much of surrounding Northeast Illinois. Owned by Spanish Broadcasting System, it broadcasts a regional Mexican format branded as La Ley 107.9. WLEY's studios are located in the Crain Communications Building in the Loop, while its transmitter is located in Bloomingdale, with its antenna located atop WSCR's tower.

The former Marshall Fields/Macy's space was demolished in 2019 to make way for a new Woodman's Food Market grocery store building. The mall is managed and owned by Namdar Realty Group.

Roselle was first incorporated in 1922 as a bedroom community, with its train stop attracting residents commuting to Chicago or nearby suburbs for their jobs. As of the 2020 census, the village's population was 22,897.
