Villa-Maria is a Montreal Metro station in the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Orange Line. It is located in the Westmount Adjacent area of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighbourhood, beside the Décarie Expressway trench.

Marymount Academy (commonly referred to as Marymount, French: Académie Marymount) is a public secondary school in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Directed by the English Montreal School Board (EMSB), Marymount offers an International Program of Studies based on the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) while still following Quebec Ministerial objectives as well the Regular program of studies (MEQ). The school serves around 400 to 500 students of very diverse cultural backgrounds mostly from the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.

Monkland Village is a neighbourhood of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce district in the Montreal borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. It is located between Grand Boulevard and the Décarie Expressway/Décarie Boulevard, and between Avenue Somerled and Chemin Côte-St-Antoine. The neighbourhood derives its name from Monkland Avenue, the commercial street at the heart of it. The Villa Maria metro station is located at the eastern end of Monkland Avenue.

Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (English: Our Lady of Grace), also nicknamed NDG, is a residential neighbourhood of Montreal in the city's West End, with a population of 166,520 (2016). An independent municipality until annexed by the City of Montreal in 1910, NDG is today one half of the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. It comprises two wards, Loyola to the west and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce to the east. NDG is bordered by four independent enclaves; its eastern border is shared with the City of Westmount, Quebec, to the north and west it is bordered by the cities of Montreal West, Hampstead and Côte-Saint-Luc. NDG plays a pivotal role in serving as the commercial and cultural hub for Montreal's predominantly English-speaking West End, with Sherbrooke Street West running the length of the community as the main commercial artery. The community is roughly bounded by Claremont Avenue to the east, Côte-Saint-Luc Road to the north, Brock Avenue in the west, and Highway 20 and the Saint-Jacques Escarpment to the south.

It is located at the geographic centre of the Island of Montreal on the western slope of Mount Royal and is part of the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. Côte-des-Neiges is home to the University of Montreal campus, Polytechnique Montréal, HEC Montréal, Sainte-Justine hospital, the Jewish general hospital, and the Oratoire Saint-Joseph.

The borough was created following the 2002 municipal reorganization of Montreal. It comprises two main neighbourhoods, Côte-des-Neiges and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, both former towns that were annexed by the city of Montreal in 1910. Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce is the most populous borough of Montreal, with a population of 166,520 according to the 2016 Census. It is an ethnically diverse borough, and there is also a large student population due to the presence of two universities, Université de Montréal and the Loyola campus of Concordia University.

Marianopolis College is a private English-language college in the Canadian province of Quebec. Located in Westmount, Quebec, it is an anglophone college with a student body over 2,000. Villa Sainte-Marcelline is a private French school located in Westmount, Quebec. It is an all-girl school from kindergarten up to grade 11.

The MacKay School for the Deaf is a provincial school in Montreal, Quebec, Canada with day programs serving deaf and hard-of-hearing students. The school teaches elementary. Deaf student population approximately 30 in the elementary school. Deaf students from Canada often attend Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. for post secondary programs.

Snowdon station is a Montreal Metro station in the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and is a transfer station between the Orange Line and Blue Line; it is the western terminus of the Blue Line. It is located in the Snowdon neighbourhood. The town of Hampstead is located nearby to the west, across Macdonald Avenue; one emergency exit from the station extends into Hampstead. The station opened on September 7, 1981 with service on the Orange Line only, though the Blue Line platforms were built at the same time. At the time it was the western terminus of the Orange Line, taking over from Place-Saint-Henri station; it is thus the only station to have been the terminus of two different lines. Service on the Blue Line began on January 4, 1988.

Snowdon is a neighbourhood located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is part of the Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough. The area is centred on the intersection of the Décarie Expressway and Queen Mary Road. Snowdon is bordered by Macdonald Street (Hampstead) in the west, Victoria Avenue (Côte-des-Neiges) in the east, Côte-Saint-Luc Road (Notre-Dame-de-Grâce) to the south and Vézina Street and the railway tracks (Le Triangle) to the north. Furthermore, the northwest end borders Côte Saint-Luc and the southeast end borders Westmount. The neighbourhood is served by the Snowdon Metro, which has access to the Metro's Orange Line and Blue Line, and by Côte-Sainte-Catherine and Plamondon stations on the Orange Line. Notable buildings in the neighbourhood include the former Snowdon Theatre. The district was named for James Snowdon, who owned a farm where the neighbourhood now stands.
