The Washtenaw Intermediate School District (Washtenaw ISD) is an intermediate school district in Michigan, headquartered in Ann Arbor. Most of Washtenaw County is served by the Washtenaw Intermediate School District, which coordinates the efforts of local boards of education, but has no operating authority over schools. Local school boards in Michigan retain great autonomy over day-to-day operations.

Ann Arbor Blues and Jazz Festival is a music festival in Ann Arbor, Michigan, that started in 1972 from the Ann Arbor Blues Festival, which itself began in 1969. Although the festival has had a tumultuous history and suspended operations in 2006, it was restarted in 2017. Although started with the support of the University of Michigan, the Ann Arbor Blues and Jazz Festival became a volunteer non-profit 501(c) event. What began as an outdoor concert became a full weekend of blues and jazz events. In addition to the daytime festival, evenings offered a choice of indoor (seated) concerts and live jazz in a club setting. Before it ceased operations in 2006, the festival organization expanded to include activities for children, educational outreach programs, and a Meet the Artist program which gave the audience a chance to meet performers. The festival has included musicians such as Art Ensemble of Chicago, Count Basie, Booker T. & the MG's, James Brown, Ray Charles, Ornette Coleman, Miles Davis, Dr. John, Al Green, Yusef Lateef, Taj Mahal, Maceo Parker, Sun Ra, Bonnie Raitt, Pharoah Sanders, Archie Shepp, and Cecil Taylor.

The LPGA Volvik Championship was a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. A new event in 2016, it was played in Michigan at Travis Pointe Country Club, southwest of Ann Arbor.Volvik is a manufacturer of colored golf balls, headquartered in South Korea.

Travis Pointe Country Club is a private country club and golf course in the central United States, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Founded 47 years ago in 1977, the par-72 golf course has six sets of tees and measures 7,326 yards (6,699 m) from the back tees.It has hosted the LPGA Volvik Championship on the LPGA Tour since its debut in 2016.

Ann Arbor Veterans Memorial Arena is an 800-seat indoor arena built in 1972, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is used primarily for ice hockey, and is home to high school and recreational ice hockey teams. It is part of Ann Arbor, Michigan Veterans Memorial Park, and contains a Pro Shop, concessions and vending machines. Dexter–Huron Metropark is a 122-acre (0.49 km2) park on the Huron River in the Huron-Clinton system of metro parks. The park has three picnic areas, a children's play area, a softball diamond, fishing, and canoe launching. A Metropark daily or annual vehicle permit is required for entry. The park will eventually be linked to Hudson Mills Metropark and Delhi Metropark via the Border-to-Border Trail.

Skyline High School is a public, magnet high school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The school opened in Fall 2008 with the intention to relieve overcrowding of the two existing high schools, Huron High School and Pioneer High School.

Pioneer High School is a public high school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Founded in 1856, the school was previously called the Union School and Ann Arbor High School. In 2010, Pioneer was listed as a "Silver Medal School" by the U.S. News & World Report.For years, Pioneer and cross-town Huron High School were among the largest high schools in the state of Michigan due to overcrowding that was eased with the construction and opening of Skyline High School in 2008.

Delhi Metropark is a park in the Huron-Clinton system of metro parks. It is an 81-acre (330,000 m2) park on the Huron River located five miles (8 km) northwest of Ann Arbor. It has picnic areas, two picnic shelters, swings and slides, river fishing, canoe rental and softball diamonds. A children's playground features an adventure playship, ride-on toys and swings. A Metropark daily or annual vehicle permit is required for entry to the park. The park will eventually be linked to Dexter-Huron Metropark and Hudson Mills Metropark via the Border-to-Border Trail.

The Old West Side Historic District is a primarily residential historic district located in Ann Arbor, Michigan and roughly bounded by 7th Street, Main Street, Huron Street, Pauline Boulevard, and Crest Avenue. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.The Old West Side contains a range of architecture and streetscapes that are especially characteristic of 19th century midwestern America. In 1967, the non-profit Old West Side Association was formed to promote neighborhood conservation.
