Lake Hall

The Alfred B. Maclay State Gardens is a 1,176-acre (4.76 km2) Florida State Park, botanical garden and historic site, located in Tallahassee, in northeastern Florida. The address is 3540 Thomasville Road. The gardens are also a U.S. historic district known as the Killearn Plantation Archeological and Historic District. It received that designation on August 16, 2002. According to the National Register of Historic Places, it contains 18 historic buildings, 4 structures and 4 objects.

Lake Overstreet is a lake in Leon County, Florida, United States. It is 144 acres (0.58 km2) in size and falls within the property of Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park and is just northwest of Lake Hall by 500 feet (150 m). Access to the lake is only by hiking and mountain bike trails. The lake and land surrounding it were part of the Lafayette Land Grant. During antebellum years, this lake was within Andalusia Plantation owned by Frenchman Emile Dubois. Later, it was the western border of Live Oak Plantation. Fish found in Lake Overstreet include largemouth bass, bluegills and bream.

The Veterans Memorial Bridge is a flyover that carries two lanes of traffic onto southbound US 319 (Capital Circle Northeast) from southbound U.S. Route 319/State Road 61 (Thomasville Road) on the north side of Tallahassee, Florida. It was built for the purpose of alleviating traffic congestion in the left-turn lanes on Thomasville Road and was opened to the public in 1997. A 2002 Florida state bill proposed that this bridge (number 550122) would be named Veterans Memorial Bridge.

St Peter's Cathedral, properly the Cathedral Church of St Peter, is an Anglican cathedral in Tallahassee, Florida, USA, dedicated to Saint Peter and seat of the Bishop of the Gulf Atlantic Diocese of the Anglican Church in North America. It was built in 2012–2014 to provide a home for the young parish of St Peter's Anglican Church, and was made the cathedral of its diocese at the Diocesan Synod on 11 November 2017. From 2018 – 2020, Archbishop Emeritus Robert Duncan served as Bishop-in-Residence and interim rector of the cathedral.It is built in a Neo-Gothic style, heavily featuring insulating concrete form construction. Included in the foundations are several handmade bricks from Uganda, which were included to show the importance of the support St. Peter's received in its early years from the Church of Uganda and Bishop Jackson Nzerebende. Building began on 1 December 2012 and was completed just prior to its consecration by Archbishop Robert Duncan on 14 June 2014. In addition to Archbishop Duncan, Bishops Lebhar and Nzerebende were in attendance at the consecration.

WQTL (106.1 FM, "Vibe 106.1") is an rhythmic adult contemporary music formatted radio station in Tallahassee, Florida, United States, owned by Adams Radio Group, through licensee ARG of Tallahassee LLC. Its studios are located in northeast Tallahassee, and its transmitter is located due north of downtown Tallahassee. From 2009 until April 2, 2012, WQTL aired an oldies/classic hits format as "Q106.1." On April 2, WQTL's oldies format was dropped and the station began stunting with music by The Beatles. A new format was to launch sometime soon. On April 17, 2012, WQTL ended stunting and launched a classic rock/AAA format, branded as "106.1 The Path". On July 31, 2015, WQTL rebranded as "106.1 The Sound".On April 11, 2018, WQTL changed their format from classic rock/AAA to oldies, branded as "Kool Oldies 106.1".On December 26, 2023, at approximately 10:50 a.m., after playing "The Load-Out" by Jackson Browne, the station began stunting with the Nintendo Wii menu music. At 12 noon, the station flipped to rhythmic adult contemporary as "Vibe 106.1"; the first song under the format was "Hypnotize" by The Notorious B.I.G.

WXTY (99.9 FM) is an adult hits radio station in the Tallahassee, Florida market owned by Adams Radio Group, through licensee ARG of Tallahassee LLC. It is branded as "Tally 99.9". Its studios and transmitter are co-located in northeast Tallahassee.

Live Oak Plantation was originally a small cotton plantation of 1,560 acres (630 ha) located in central Leon County, Florida, United States established by John Branch who arrived in Florida in 1832 and served as Florida Territorial Governor while living at Live Oak for 15 years.

Community Christian School (CCS) is a private Christian school located in Tallahassee, Florida for grades K–12. According to its website site, tuition in 2017–2018 was $7,990 per year.

St. Clement's Chapel, also known as St. Clement's Chapel of the Church of the Advent, is a historic Carpenter Gothic style Episcopal church building located at 815 Piedmont Drive in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida. It was designed and built in 1890 by William Betton as St. Clement's Episcopal Church, 15 miles (24 km) to the east in Lloyd in Jefferson County, and was named for the church of the same name in Manhattan, New York. Dedicated by Bishop Edwin Gardner Weed of the Episcopal Diocese of Florida in 1895, it was a small but active congregation in Lloyd, until dwindling membership and the need for extensive repairs forced its deactivation in November 1958. In June 1959, it was given to the fledgling Church of the Advent in Tallahassee and was moved to its present location that summer and renovated. It was rededicated on Advent Sunday, November 29, 1959. The Church of the Advent used the building as its main place of worship until 1996, when it was replaced by an adjacent, more modern, and larger building. St. Clement's Chapel is still used for the 8:00 A.M. Sunday services as well as for weddings and other events. Unlike many Carpenter Gothic style Episcopal churches in Florida, St. Clement's Chapel has all of its original furnishings.

Water Oak Plantation was a small cotton plantation of 1,840 acres (740 ha) located in northern Leon County, Florida, United States established by Richard Bradford.
