St. Clement's Chapel, also known as St. Clement's Chapel of the Church of the Advent, is a historic Carpenter Gothic style Episcopal church building located at 815 Piedmont Drive in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida. It was designed and built in 1890 by William Betton as St. Clement's Episcopal Church, 15 miles (24 km) to the east in Lloyd in Jefferson County, and was named for the church of the same name in Manhattan, New York. Dedicated by Bishop Edwin Gardner Weed of the Episcopal Diocese of Florida in 1895, it was a small but active congregation in Lloyd, until dwindling membership and the need for extensive repairs forced its deactivation in November 1958. In June 1959, it was given to the fledgling Church of the Advent in Tallahassee and was moved to its present location that summer and renovated. It was rededicated on Advent Sunday, November 29, 1959. The Church of the Advent used the building as its main place of worship until 1996, when it was replaced by an adjacent, more modern, and larger building. St. Clement's Chapel is still used for the 8:00 A.M. Sunday services as well as for weddings and other events. Unlike many Carpenter Gothic style Episcopal churches in Florida, St. Clement's Chapel has all of its original furnishings.

Escambe (also known as San Cosme y San Damián de Cupaica, San Damián de Cupaica, San Cosmo y San Damías de Escambe, or San Damián de Cupahica) was a Spanish Franciscan mission built in the 17th century in the Florida Panhandle, three miles northwest of the present-day town of Tallahassee, Florida. It was part of Spain's effort to colonize the region, and convert the Timucuan and Apalachee Indians to Christianity. The mission lasted until 1704, when it was destroyed by a group of Creek Indians and South Carolinians. The site where the original mission stood was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on May 14, 1971. San Damián de Cupaica was founded in 1639, the third Spanish mission in Apalachee Province. San Damián survived James Moore's invasion of Apalachee Province in January 1704, but was captured by Creek warriors in June 1704. When the Spanish abandoned their headquarters in San Luis de Talimali later that year, leaving all of the Apalachee Province unprotected, residents of Cupaica joined other Apalachees, Chactatos and Yemassees in migrating to the area of Pensacola, Florida.A later mission named San Joseph de Escambe was established in 1741 at the present-day community of Molino, Florida along the Escambia River north of Pensacola, lending its name both to the river and later to Escambia County, Florida.

According to Radio and Records, WWLD is now the highest-rated radio station in the Tallahassee market. Its studios are located in the westside of Tallahassee and its transmitter is based due north of downtown along I-10.

WBZE (98.9 FM, "Star 98.9") is an adult contemporary radio station in the Tallahassee, Florida, market owned by Cumulus Licensing, LLC. Its studios are located on the west side of Tallahassee and its transmitter is based due north of downtown along I-10. According to AllAccess.com, WBZE is the third-highest-rated station in the market, following only sister stations WHBX and WWLD.

The Veterans Memorial Bridge is a flyover that carries two lanes of traffic onto southbound US 319 (Capital Circle Northeast) from southbound U.S. Route 319/State Road 61 (Thomasville Road) on the north side of Tallahassee, Florida. It was built for the purpose of alleviating traffic congestion in the left-turn lanes on Thomasville Road and was opened to the public in 1997. A 2002 Florida state bill proposed that this bridge (number 550122) would be named Veterans Memorial Bridge.

The studios and offices are on John Knox Road in Tallahassee. WFLA-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 11,500 watts. The transmitter is on William Reeves Road near Interstate 10 in Tallahassee.

WCVC is a radio station broadcasting on 1330 kilohertz in Tallahassee, Florida. WCVC is owned and operated by Guadalupe Radio Network of Midland Texas, and broadcasts a Catholic talk format from EWTN. It was a Christian-formatted station, then changed its format in April 2001 to a talk radio station, with callers and hosts discussing news and events of national and local interest. The station changed its format again, to EWTN, in August 2005.

On November 2, 2018, a mass shooting occurred at Tallahassee Hot Yoga, a yoga studio located in Tallahassee, Florida. The gunman, identified as Scott Paul Beierle, shot six women, two of them fatally, and pistol-whipped a man before killing himself.Criminal investigators attested to the attacker's hatred of women. The US Secret Service and International Centre for Counter-Terrorism consider the attack an act of misogynist terrorism.

The Centre of Tallahassee, formerly Tallahassee Mall, is a local semi-enclosed mixed-use shopping, entertainment, and work office complex (formerly a fully enclosed regional shopping mall) located at the intersection of North Monroe Street and John Knox Road in Tallahassee, Florida. Since the official close of the faltering Northwood Mall in 1986 (and subsequent repurposing as a strip mall-styled office complex), The Tallahassee Mall became the older of two surviving enclosed malls in the Tallahassee area, the other being Governor's Square. The Centre's present anchor stores include AMC Theatres, Ross Dress For Less, and Belk, as well as several big-box stores including Barnes & Noble and Guitar Center. Other stores that operated in the mall such as Sam Goody have closed their doors between the initial close of the Tallahassee Mall and its renewal as the Centre of Tallahassee.

The Alfred B. Maclay State Gardens is a 1,176-acre (4.76 km2) Florida State Park, botanical garden and historic site, located in Tallahassee, in northeastern Florida. The address is 3540 Thomasville Road. The gardens are also a U.S. historic district known as the Killearn Plantation Archeological and Historic District. It received that designation on August 16, 2002. According to the National Register of Historic Places, it contains 18 historic buildings, 4 structures and 4 objects.
