Zhubei

Hsinchu County (Traditional Chinese: 新竹縣, Wade–Giles: Hsin¹-chu² Hsien⁴) is a county administered as part of the nominal Taiwan Province of the Republic of China (ROC). Located in north-western Taiwan, the population of the county is mainly Hakka; with a Taiwanese aboriginal minority in the southeastern part of the county. Zhubei is the county seat, where the government office and county office is located. A portion of the Hsinchu Science Park is located in Hsinchu County.

Zhubei railway station (Chinese: 竹北車站; pinyin: Zhúběi Chēzhàn) is a railway station located in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. It is located on the West Coast line and is operated by Taiwan Railways.

The council composes of 35 councilors lastly elected through the 2018 Republic of China local election on 24 November 2018.

The Tai Yuen Hi-Tech Industrial Park (traditional Chinese: 台元科技園區; simplified Chinese: 台元科技园区; pinyin: Táiyuán Kējì Yuánqū) is an industrial park in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan.

Pacific American School (PAS; Chinese: 亞太美國學校; pinyin: Yǎtài Měiguó Xuéxiào) is a private international school with an American-based curriculum located in East District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. It was founded in 2007, and is recognized by The Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The school follows an American curriculum with instruction in English for students from grades K to 12.Most graduates of PAS go on to attend colleges and universities in United States, although some choose to attend schools in other countries. According to Taiwanese law, students should hold non-Taiwanese passports in order to be admitted into American schools, though Pacific American School can allow exceptions.

FEDS Zhubei (Chinese: 遠百竹北) is a shopping mall located in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan that opened on 14 January 2022. With a total floor area of 141,117 m2 (1,518,970 sq ft), it is the largest shopping mall in Hsinchu County and is located in close proximity to Hsinchu HSR station. This is the 13th store of the Far Eastern Department Stores company.

The Hsinchu County Stadium (Chinese: 新竹縣體育館; pinyin: Xīnzhúxiàn Tǐyùguǎn), also referred to as Zhubei Dome (Chinese: 竹北巨蛋), is a multi-purpose stadium in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Completed in 2005, the stadium consists of an outdoor arena used mostly for football and track and field events and outdoor concerts, and an indoor stadium for multiple sports events, exhibitions, conferences and performances. In 2006, it received the EEWH green building certification.South Korean SM Town artists held 2 concerts at the outdoor arena, as part of the SM Town Live World Tour III and SM Town Live World Tour 4 on 9 June 2012 and 21 March 2015 respectively.

Sheraton Hsinchu Hotel (traditional Chinese: 新竹豐邑喜來登大飯店; simplified Chinese: 新竹丰邑喜来登大饭店; pinyin: Xīnzhú Fēngyì Xǐláidēng Dà Fàndiàn) is located in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Opened on 3 April 2010, the hotel has 386 rooms and suites and has facilities such as a business center, fitness center, temperature controlled swimming pool and sauna. It is a franchise of Sheraton Hotels and Resorts.

Wonder World 520 (Chinese: 豐采520) is twin skyscraper complex under construction in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. The tower will be 129 m (423 ft) tall, with 32 floors above ground and 6 basement levels. The project is designed to be a mixed-use complex, housing a Sheraton hotel, 890 residential units as well as a shopping center. Construction of the complex began in 2020 and will be completed by 2023. It will become the tallest building in the city.

Qianjia railway station (Chinese: 千甲車站; pinyin: Qiānjiǎ Chēzhàn) is a railway station located in East District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. It is located on the Neiwan line and is operated by the Taiwan Railways Administration. When the station opened in 2011, it was named Shibo railway station (Chinese: 世博車站; pinyin: Shìbó Chēzhàn; lit. 'Expo railway station'), after the Taiwanese pavilion from the Expo 2010 that was relocated nearby. However, the name was met with controversy from locals, who wanted the station name to reflect local culture. The name was changed to Qianjia in January 2013. The pavilion, which was turned into a shopping mall, closed on June 30, 2016.
