The Hsinchu County Government (traditional Chinese: 新竹縣政府; simplified Chinese: 新竹县政府; pinyin: Xīnzhú Xiàn Zhèngfǔ) is the local government of the Republic of China that governs Hsinchu County.

The Hsinchu County Council (HCC; traditional Chinese: 新竹縣議會; simplified Chinese: 新竹县议会; pinyin: Xīnzhú Xiàn Yìhuì) is the elected county council of Hsinchu County, Republic of China. The council composes of 35 councilors lastly elected through the 2018 Republic of China local election on 24 November 2018.

Zhubei (Wade-Giles: Chupei; Hakka PFS: Chuk-pet; Hokkien POJ: Tek-pak) is a city in Hsinchu County of the streamlined Taiwan Province, Republic of China. It is one of the fastest-growing settlements in Taiwan, with a population gain of 51,000 between 2010 and 2019, the highest of any township/city or district. The city has attracted migration both because of its proximity to Hsinchu City and the Hsinchu Science and Technology Park, and because the Hsinchu County government has focused most of its infrastructure here. It is governed as a county-administered city, and is the county seat of Hsinchu County. Taiwan High Speed Rail's Hsinchu HSR station is located here.

Hsinchu County (Traditional Chinese: 新竹縣, Wade–Giles: Hsin¹-chu² Hsien⁴) is a county administered as part of the nominal Taiwan Province of the Republic of China (ROC). Located in north-western Taiwan, the population of the county is mainly Hakka; with a Taiwanese aboriginal minority in the southeastern part of the county. Zhubei is the county seat, where the government office and county office is located. A portion of the Hsinchu Science Park is located in Hsinchu County.

Qianjia railway station (Chinese: 千甲車站; pinyin: Qiānjiǎ Chēzhàn) is a railway station located in East District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. It is located on the Neiwan line and is operated by the Taiwan Railways Administration. When the station opened in 2011, it was named Shibo railway station (Chinese: 世博車站; pinyin: Shìbó Chēzhàn; lit. 'Expo railway station'), after the Taiwanese pavilion from the Expo 2010 that was relocated nearby. However, the name was met with controversy from locals, who wanted the station name to reflect local culture. The name was changed to Qianjia in January 2013. The pavilion, which was turned into a shopping mall, closed on June 30, 2016.

The Hsinchu County Stadium (Chinese: 新竹縣體育館; pinyin: Xīnzhúxiàn Tǐyùguǎn), also referred to as Zhubei Dome (Chinese: 竹北巨蛋), is a multi-purpose stadium in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Completed in 2005, the stadium consists of an outdoor arena used mostly for football and track and field events and outdoor concerts, and an indoor stadium for multiple sports events, exhibitions, conferences and performances. In 2006, it received the EEWH green building certification.South Korean SM Town artists held 2 concerts at the outdoor arena, as part of the SM Town Live World Tour III and SM Town Live World Tour 4 on 9 June 2012 and 21 March 2015 respectively.

Zhubei railway station (Chinese: 竹北車站; pinyin: Zhúběi Chēzhàn) is a railway station located in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. It is located on the West Coast line and is operated by Taiwan Railways.

The Aqueduct Museum of Hsinchu City (traditional Chinese: 新竹水道取水口展示館; simplified Chinese: 新竹水道取水口展示馆; pinyin: Xīnzhú Shuǐdào Qǔshuǐ Kǒu Zhǎnshìguǎn) is a museum in East District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan.

FEDS Zhubei (Chinese: 遠百竹北) is a shopping mall located in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan that opened on 14 January 2022. With a total floor area of 141,117 m2 (1,518,970 sq ft), it is the largest shopping mall in Hsinchu County and is located in close proximity to Hsinchu HSR station. This is the 13th store of the Far Eastern Department Stores company.

The Hsinchu Taiwan Pavilion Expo Park (traditional Chinese: 新竹市世博台灣館; simplified Chinese: 新竹市世博台湾馆; pinyin: Xīnzhú Shì Shìbó Táiwān Guǎn) was a pavilion in East District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan.

Hsinchu (, Chinese: 新竹, Pinyin: Xīnzhú, Wade–Giles: Hsin¹-chu²), formerly known as Shinchiku during Japanese rule, is a city located in northwestern Taiwan. It is the most populous city in Taiwan that is not a special municipality, with estimated 450,655 inhabitants. Hsinchu is a coastal city bordering the Taiwan Strait to the west, Hsinchu County to the north and east, and Miaoli County to the south. Nicknamed the Windy City for its strong northeastern monsoon during the autumn and winter seasons.The area was originally settled by the Austronesian Taiwanese indigenous peoples, with the settlement being named "Tek-kham" by the Hoklo immigrants. The city was founded by Han Chinese settlers in 1711, and renamed as Hsinchu in 1878. During the Japanese Era, the city was the seat of Shinchiku Prefecture, named after the city. The prefecture encompassed present-day Hsinchu City and County, as well as entire Taoyuan and Miaoli. After the ROC rule in 1945, the urban area of Hsinchu was organized as a provincial city. In 1980, the Taiwanese government established the Hsinchu Science Park, a major industrial park, a significant centre for semiconductor manufacturing, industrial and computer technology development. The park contributes a major proportion of Taiwan's GDP. This made Hsinchu a vital economic hub for its economy; the headquarters of TSMC, world's largest independent semiconductor foundry, MediaTek and United Microelectronics Corporation, are both located in the park.Besides its industry, Hsinchu is also an important cultural center of Taiwan with an abundance of heritage sites. The Chenghuang Temple of Hsinchu, built in 1747, is a common prayer destination. The research institutions of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and National Tsing Hua University are both located near the science park.

Opened on 3 April 2010, the hotel has 386 rooms and suites and has facilities such as a business center, fitness center, temperature controlled swimming pool and sauna. It is a franchise of Sheraton Hotels and Resorts.
