Dorth

Bathmen is a village and former municipality in the east of the Netherlands. The municipality was merged with her larger neighbour of Deventer on 1 January 2005 as part of a national effort to reduce bureaucracy in the country. Its main population centres were Apenhuizen, Bathmen, Dortherhoek, Loo, Pieriksmars and Zuidloo.It was first mentioned in 1284 as Batmen. The etymology is unclear. In 1840, it was home to 1,507 people. In 1997, Deventer tried to annex Bathmen, but failed.

Joppe is a village in the municipality of Lochem in the province of Gelderland, Netherlands. It was first mentioned in 1608 as Jobstede, and means "the city of Job (person)". The village started as a Catholic enclave near Huis 't Joppe which is an estate dating from 1736. The estate was restored between 1965 and 1967. The Catholic church dates from 1867. The railway station Gorssel which existed between 1865 and 1935 was actually located in Joppe.

Sportpark Het Schootsveld (Salland Cricket Club Ground) is a cricket ground in Deventer, the Netherlands. The first recorded match held on the ground came in 1975 when Dansk XL Club played The Forty Club. The ground later held four ICC Trophy matches in the 1990. The ground held its first List A match in 1999 when the Netherlands played Cambridgeshire in the NatWest Trophy. Two further List A matches have been played there, both in the 2011 Clydesdale Bank 40 when the Netherlands played Middlesex and Derbyshire. The ground held its first first-class match in 2004 when the Netherlands hosted Ireland in the ICC Intercontinental Cup. Two further first-class matches have been held there, one in the 2009–10 Intercontinental Cup when Scotland were the visitors, and another in the 2011–13 Intercontinental Cup which saw Kenya as the visitors.At this venue, on 17 June 2018, a T20I between Scotland and Ireland was ended in a tie, though no Super Over was played. It was the tenth T20I match to end in a tie, and the first since the ICC playing conditions were implemented in September 2017, not to end with a Super Over. However, both teams knew that there would not be a Super Over in the event of a tie before the match. The International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that there should have been a Super Over, and apologised for the oversight.The ground was used by Kon UD.

Deventer Colmschate is a railway station located in Deventer, Netherlands. The station was opened in 1888 and is located on the Deventer–Almelo railway. The train services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The station was closed between 15 May 1933 and 10 December 1989. Before the reopening in 1989, the station's name was simply Colmschate as Colmschate was a village back then. Some time after the closure, it was incorporated as a neighbourhood of Deventer. In 2018, a tunnel was dug under the station by ProRail to remove the railroad crossing.

Almen is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is in the municipality Lochem, about 7 km east of the city of Zutphen. It was first mentioned in 1188 as Almen, and means "settlement near elm trees". Castle Ehze was built around 1300. It was destroyed during the Dutch Revolt and rebuilt in 1647. In 1816, it was demolished and replaced by an estate in 1831. In 1840, it was home to 456 people.

De Hegeman is a smock mill operating as a gristmill in the community of Dijkerhoek in the municipality of Rijssen-Holten, Overijssel, in the eastern Netherlands. The mill was built in 1890 using an eight-sided top structure salvaged from a demolished mill in South Holland. It is a rijksmonument (Dutch National heritage site). The construction was commissioned by the widow Klein Baltink-Willemsen, living at the home of Erve Hegeman, after whom the mill was named in 1983. The decline in the use of wind power after World War II lead to a sharp deterioration of the state of the mill. The sail cross was removed for safety reasons, and it was only in 1965 that the mill was restored with the support of the then municipality of Holten. Decline struck again, however, after the mill was transferred from a cooperative to a private individual. In 1978 the municipality of Holten decided to purchase the mill and a second restoration followed in 1981–1982. The mill is now equipped with two pairs of millstones: one pair uses wind power; the other one is powered by a Deutz engine. The arms are 22.40 metres (73 ft 6 in) long and are equipped with the Old Dutch fencing with sails. The mill is operated by volunteers and is used regularly to grind grain; one can purchase items produced in the mill on-site.

Eefde is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Lochem, about 3 km northeast of the city of Zutphen.

Epse is a village in the municipality of Lochem, province of Gelderland, Netherlands. It lies south of the A1 motorway and north of Gorssel, which was a separate municipality encompassing Epse until 2005, when it was merged with Lochem. In 2021, the village had a population of 2,069. The Dutch Reformed Church at its centre was built in 1930.

Museum MORE is a Dutch museum in Gorssel, Netherlands. Museum MORE is dedicated to Dutch Neorealism (art) (the name is an abbreviation of MOdern REalism). It is located in the former town hall of Gorssel, which was expanded for that purpose with seven exhibition spaces. The extension was designed by Dutch architect Hans van Heeswijk. Less than a year after the opening of the public on 2 June 2015, the museum was able to welcome its 100.000th visitor A second branch of Museum MORE, in Ruurlo Castle in the municipality of Gelderland Berkelland, was opened on June 23, 2017, by Pieter van Vollenhoven. In this castle one can find the collection Carel Willink / Fong Leng.

Gorssel is a village in the municipality of Lochem, province of Gelderland, Netherlands. It is located about 9 km (5.6 mi) southeast of the city centre of Deventer, Overijssel. In 2015, it had a population of 4,043. The microbiologist and botanist Martinus Beijerinck lived in Gorssel for the last part of his life, and died there in 1931.

Laren is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Lochem. Laren was a separate municipality until 1971, when it was merged with Lochem.

Warnsveld is a town in the eastern Netherlands, about 2 km east of Zutphen.
