Oswego High School, or OHS, is a public four-year high school located in Oswego, Illinois, a southwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Oswego Community Unit School District 308, which also includes Oswego East High School.

Oswego is a village within the Chicago Metropolitan Area located in Kendall and Will Counties, Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 34,485. Oswego is the largest municipality in Kendall County. It is a suburb/exurb of Chicago, Illinois.

Boulder Hill is a census-designated place (CDP) in Oswego Township, Kendall County, Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 8,394. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area on the Fox River, south of Aurora.

Community Unit School District 308 is a public school district located in Oswego, Kendall County, Illinois. The Superintendent of Schools is John Sparlin. The district headquarters is in Oswego, Illinois. The district includes 22 schools, including one early learning center, 14 elementary schools for grades K-5, 5 junior high schools for grades 6–8, and 2 high schools. The district serves Oswego, Aurora, Montgomery, Plainfield, Yorkville, and Joliet. Total enrollment as of 2012 was about 18,000 students. Oswego 308 is the seventh largest public school district in Illinois out of 868.

Oswego East High School, or OEHS, is a public four-year high school located in Oswego, Illinois, a southwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Oswego Community Unit School District 308, which also includes Oswego High School. The high school was established in 2004 due to the growing population in Oswego, Illinois. From 2012 to 2013, Oswego East underwent expansions and renovations to prepare for an additional growth in student population. The additions were completed in August 2013, increasing the previous capacity of 2,400 students to 3,200 students.

The Montgomery Dam is a gravity dam on the Fox River in Montgomery, Illinois. The dam was built for flood control and navigation in 1969 as a part of the Stratton project dam system which was designed to keep the river navagable from the Wisconsin border to the confluence with the Illinois River. It is owned by Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The dam is 7 ft (2.1 m) high and 325 ft (99 m) long. It impounds 131 acre-feet (162,000 m3). The Fox River watershed above the Montgomery Dam totals 1,732 square miles (4,490 km2).For many years, this dam and the upstream North Avenue Dam set the water levels for the Aurora, Illinois stretch of the Fox River. In 2006, the City of Aurora removed the North Avenue Dam, and advocates of a free-flowing river are now seeking removal of the Montgomery Dam as well.

Phillips Park Zoo is located on the grounds of Phillips Park, in Aurora, Illinois, United States. It was originally established in 1915, and is still open year-round with no admission charge. It was once home to exotic animals such as giraffes and monkeys, but the zoo's focus changed to native animals after Brookfield Zoo opened in 1934.

Phillips Park is a municipal park in Aurora, Illinois, that includes Phillips Park Zoo. Comprising more than 325 acres, the park is managed by the Department of Parks and Recreation of the city of Aurora, and has co-owned areas with the Fox Valley Park District.

Copley Hospital is a former hospital at 301 Weston Avenue in Aurora, Illinois. Opened in 1888, the hospital was the first in Aurora, and it remained the only hospital in Aurora until 1900. The building underwent several additions and expansions over time, both to add more space and to help modernize the hospital's practices. The first of these additions came in 1916, when a new wing opened; this section brought wider hallways, elevators, patient call systems, and better-lit patient rooms to the hospital. A 1932 addition was designed by architects Schmidt, Garden & Erikson in the Neoclassical style; it included an expansion for the hospital's maternity ward and radiology and training facilities. The same architects designed another addition in 1947, which coincided with the hospital's renaming in honor of Ira C. Copley; Copley's donations had funded both the 1932 and 1947 additions. Two more additions were placed on the building in 1970 and 1980, and the hospital was closed and replaced by the new Rush–Copley Medical Center in 1995. when the building was vacant it became popular with urban exploring and paranormal investigators as it is supposed to be haunted despite the building being unsafe. The hospital was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 18, 2019. The hospital is now being renovated by Fox Valley Developers LLC and Kluber Architects + Engineers and will become a nursing home and an apartment for people who are disabled.

Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois, is a 210-bed hospital in the greater Fox Valley area. It is named after Ira Clifton Copley, who donated over $2 million for the original hospital. It is part of the Rush University System for Health, which includes Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and Rush Oak Park Hospital. The Cancer Care Center has been designated as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Rush Copley Neuroscience Services provides specialized care to the greater Fox Valley area. The Heart and Vascular Institute is an accredited Chest Pain Center for the care of patients with acute coronary from the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Emergency Services is a designated Level II Trauma Center that serves nearly 70,000 patients annually.

The West Side Historic District is a set of ninety-eight buildings on the west side of the Fox River in Aurora, Illinois. Of these, seventy-seven contribute to the historical value of the district.

The Masonic Temple in Aurora, Illinois was a historical building where Freemasons held meetings. Opened in 1924, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. On October 7, 2019 it was gutted by fire, leading to its subsequent demolition.
