Gilze-Rijen Air Base

Gilze-Rijen is a railway station located in Rijen, Netherlands in the municipality Gilze en Rijen. Although the railway station is located in Rijen, it's called Gilze-Rijen because of the Gilze-Rijen Air Base, just south of Rijen. The station was opened on 5 October 1863 and is located on the Breda–Eindhoven railway between Breda and Tilburg. The station is operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen.

Gilze en Rijen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌɣɪlzə ʔɛn ˈrɛiə(n)] ) is a municipality in the southern Netherlands. The municipality contains four villages: Rijen, Gilze, Hulten and Molenschot. It is home to the Gilze-Rijen Air Base. Rijen grew in the 19th century due to its leather factories.

Rijen is the largest place in the Dutch municipality of Gilze en Rijen. The city hall is located here. Rijen is situated north of the A58, between Breda and Tilburg. Surrounding places are: Dorst, Dongen and Oosterhout.

Heikant is a former hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It was located in the municipality of Gilze en Rijen, about 1 km west of the centre of Rijen.According to the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, Heikant (or "De Heikant") consisted of 8 houses and had a population of 60 in the middle of the 19th century. Heikant was still named as a separate hamlet in 1997, but nowadays it no longer exists: a residential neighbourhood of the town of Rijen now covers the area. Heikant should not be confused with any of the other hamlets named Heikant in the Netherlands.

Tilburg Reeshof is a railway station located in the Reeshof in Tilburg, Netherlands. It is situated on the Breda–Eindhoven railway. The station was opened on 14 December 2003. The train services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen.

In the past it had a profitable leather industry, and a few old shoe factories in the town's older sections remain. The town is near a small river called the Donge, the water of which was used extensively for the leather industry. The Aerts Automobile was built here in 1899.

't Zand (Dutch pronunciation: [(ə)t sɑnt]) is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant, in the municipality of Alphen-Chaam. It was first mentioned in 1980 and means sand. 't Zand is a villa ward and recreational site near Alphen. There are no place name signs. It consists of about 100 houses excluding the holiday homes.In 1939, a little chapel dedicated to Saint Willibrord was erected on the Oude Maastrichtsebaan in 't Zand. According to legend, Willibrord baptised people from Alphen near a well and it turned into a site of pilgrimage. Father Binck together with the archaeologist Joan Willems set out to find the spot and discovered a 2.5 metres (8 ft 2 in) loam well in the forest. It was restored in stone and a chapel was built on top of the well. The chapel was destroyed in 1945, and rebuilt in 1946.

Dorst is a village in the municipality Oosterhout, in the Dutch province North Brabant. Dorst is located near Rijen and the nearest cities are Breda, Oosterhout and Tilburg.

Heikant is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Alphen-Chaam, about 2 km northeast of Chaam.Heikant is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Chaam. It was first mentioned in 1685 as aen den Heycant, and means "on the edge of the heath".Heikant was home to 252 people in 1840. Nowadays, it consists of about 80 house. The Roman Catholic Church of the parish of Chaam used to be in this hamlet, but it was moved to the village of Chaam in 1842.

Klooster is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Alphen-Chaam, approximately two kilometres north of the town of Chaam.Klooster is not a statistical entities, and the postal authorities have placed it under Chaam. The hamlet was first mentioned between 1838 and 1857 as 't Klooster. No monastery has been known to exist at the location, and therefore, it probably means "closed off pasture". There are no place name signs, and it consists of about 10 houses.

Tesla, Inc. has several factory buildings in the industrial zone of Vossenberg, Tilburg, in the Netherlands. In December 2012, a European Distribution Centre in Tilburg was announced, acting as the European parts and services headquarters. The Tesla Tilburg assembly plant handled final assembly of Tesla Model S/X electric vehicles for delivery within Europe.
