Coopers School is a mixed secondary school with academy status in Chislehurst in the London Borough of Bromley, England. The current Head of School is Claire Bessa.The school shares a site with the community special school Marjorie McClure. The site is on land between Chislehurst Common and the National Trust's Hawkwood Estate, an area of working farmland and woodland, and is above the Chislehurst Caves. As of 2013 the school had some 1,357 students, of whom approximately 200 were in the sixth form.The school was inspected by Ofsted in 2009 and rated good with outstanding capacity for sustained improvement.

St Mary's Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in Chislehurst, the Borough of Bromley, London. It was built from 1853 to 1854, and was designed by William Wardell. Wardell, a friend of the architect Augustus Pugin, built the church in a similar Gothic Revival style. It is located on the corner of Crown Lane and Hawkwood Lane to the south of Chislehurst. The church is a Grade II listed building. In 1874, the church was expanded. A chapel, designed by Henry Clutton was added to the church. It was built to house the tomb of Napoleon III, who died the previous year, spending his last years in exile in nearby Camden Place. In 1879, Napoleon's son, Louis-Napoléon, Prince Imperial, or Napoleon IV, also died and was also buried in the church. In 1888, their tombs were moved to Farnborough Abbey. Around the church is a graveyard, dating to 1864, and contains the tomb of Charles West, the founder of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Darul Uloom London is an 11–19 boys, Islamic, independent boarding school and sixth form in Chislehurst, Greater London, England. It is a Darul uloom that was established in 1988.The school charges fees of £3,500 per year. All pupils are borders and they have two weekend home trips per month, and parents often visit on other weekends. A "material change" was applied for c. 2017/2018 to increase the number of students to 225 and the school also planned to increase the maximum age to 25. Ofsted recommended that the request should be refused until safeguarding issues a had been addressed, and in light of the school already exceeding both its registered capacity and age range.

Chislehurst Common is an open space in Chislehurst in the London Borough of Bromley in south-east London. It is jointly managed with St Paul's Cray Common. The common was used for cricket matches in the 18th century. It was the home venue of Chislehurst Cricket Club which played several known matches against London Cricket Club from 1738 to 1741. Cricket is still played on Chislehurst Common as the Chislehurst and West Kent Cricket Club has its ground in the south-west corner of the common on Cricket Ground Road.

Chislehurst and Sidcup Urban District was a local government district and civil parish in north west Kent, England from 1934 to 1965. It was formed in 1934 from the former area of Chislehurst Urban District, Sidcup Urban District and part of Bromley Rural District.

Glebe Football Club is a football club based in Chislehurst in the London Borough of Bromley, England. Affiliated to both the Kent County Football Association and the London Football Association, they are currently members of the Southern Counties East League Premier Division and play at Foxbury Avenue.

Derwent House, on Camden Park Road, Chislehurst, Bromley, is one of a number of the locally renowned 'Willett-built' houses erected on the Camden Park Estate by high-class speculative builder William Willett in the 1900s. Willett bought the entire estate in 1890 with the intention of building on it all but the venture was not successful and he erected only a small number of houses there and on Wilderness Road. The remainder of the estate became the Chislehurst Golf Club with the mansion, Camden Place, becoming its clubhouse. Derwent House was erected in 1899. The design is inspired by the arts and crafts movement. It is of red brick in with a red clay tiled roof. It was designed by Ernest Newton and a ballroom was added in 1903 by Amos Faulkner (Willett's in-house architect). Faulkner also designed the detached motor house with carriage-wash canopy. Derwent is a Grade II listed building located within the Chislehurst Conservation Area. Willett lived in a similar Newton house further along at 88 Camden Park Road. A blue plaque on that building commemorates Willett as the promoter of daylight saving time.

Foxbury is an area in the London Borough of Bromley, located to the east of Chislehurst. It is home to the Grade II-listed Foxbury Manor, several educational institutes and a number of sports and athletic grounds.

Chislehurst School for Girls is a secondary school in Chislehurst, in outer South East London, England. It caters for girls in academic years 7-11 and offers a co-educational sixth form education.

Chislehurst Junction is an important railway junction near Chislehurst in the London Borough of Bromley, England. It is the point where the South Eastern Main Line and the Chatham Main Line pass over each other, with diversion chords between each line. These are arranged such that a London-bound train on one line can transfer to the other, and likewise for services heading away from the capital.

Kemnal Park Cemetery & Memorial Gardens is a privately owned cemetery in London that was opened in October 2013 by the Mayor of Bromley, Cllr Ernest Noad. It comprises 55 acres in total and in addition to the available 30,000 burial plots, features a garden of remembrance, a non-denominational chapel and car parking. Near to the cemetery entrance is a monument to ‘the Unknown Parishioner of the Borough of Southwark’. This person's remains were moved to the cemetery from the former St Saviour's Almshouse burial ground during the construction of the Thameslink Programme rail project. The cemetery is also listed as a 'site of special interest' due to its ancient woodland and diverse bird life. In April 2014, Kemnal Park became the first cemetery in the UK to offer live web streaming of services.

Chislehurst Caves are a series of intersecting man-made tunnels and caverns covering some 22 miles (35.4 km) in Chislehurst in southeast London, England. From the mid-13th to early 19th centuries the 'caves' were created from the mining of flint and lime-burning chalk. Today the caves are a tourist attraction and although they are called caves, they are entirely man-made and were dug and used as chalk and flint mines. The earliest recorded mention of the mines and lime-burning kilns above dates from a 9th-century Saxon charter and then not again until around 1232AD; they are believed to have been last worked in the 1830s.During World War I the caves were used as an ammunition storage dump associated with the Royal Arsenal at Woolwich. In the 1930s the tunnels were used for mushroom cultivation.
