Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) is a large amphitheatre located in Saratoga Springs, New York, on the grounds of Saratoga Spa State Park. It presents summer performances of classical music, jazz, pop and rock, country, comedy, dance, opera, as well as a Wine & Food Festival. It opened on July 9, 1966, with a presentation of George Balanchine's A Midsummer Night's Dream by the New York City Ballet. The Center is the official summer home of the New York City Ballet and the Philadelphia Orchestra, both of which are in residence for two or three weeks during the summer. SPAC also serves as the common venue for high school graduations, particularly for Saratoga Springs, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, Shenendehowa, and Ballston Spa High Schools. Skidmore College commencement exercises also take place at the venue. Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Inc. is a non-profit charitable corporation that runs the arts center. It holds a 50-year renewable lease with the State of New York, which owns the land, theaters and buildings that comprise the center. SPAC subcontracts with Live Nation, which organizes and presents the popular music and rock concerts every summer. The income derived from the Live Nation contract goes towards supporting the classical arts presentations.

Saratoga Spa State Park is a 2,379-acre (9.63 km2) state park located in Saratoga County, New York in the United States. The park is in the City of Saratoga Springs, near US 9 and NY 50. The grounds contain mineral springs, classical bath and spa houses, and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

WABY (900 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Watervliet, New York and serving the Capital District. The station broadcasts a classic country radio format and is owned by Loud Media.By day, WABY is powered at 400 watts. But because 900 AM is a Mexican clear channel frequency, WABY must reduce power at night to only 70 watts to avoid interference. It uses a non-directional antenna at all times. Programming is also heard on FM translator W231DU at 94.1 MHz in Clifton Park. It uses its FM dial position in its moniker, "K94.1."

The National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame, in the Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga Springs, New York, was established in 1986. It contains photographs, videos, artifacts, costumes, and biographies. The museum is located in the former Washington Bath House and was founded by Marylou Whitney. It is related to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and also provides dance classes and master classes through the Lewis A. Swyer School for the Arts, which hosts the New York State Summer School of the Arts during July and August.The National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame purposed a mission from its very foundation. It was "to cultivate, promote, foster, sponsor, and develop among its members and the community at large, the appreciation, understanding, taste, and love of the Musical Arts, especially the Dance; to create a National Hall of Fame for the advancement of such purposes; to secure the interest of the patrons of these Arts, and to promote and encourage the means for popular instruction and enjoyment thereof."

Saratoga Springs High School is a public high school in Saratoga Springs, New York. The school was originally located on Lake Avenue, but was relocated to its current location prior to 1969. The current campus was renovated in 2002 and is a state-of-the-art facility. The school is well known for excellence in its music and drama programs. The school's drama club is a regular contender for the Schenectady Light Opera's High School Musical Award, placing 2nd in 2011 and winning first place in 2008. The girls' cross country team was ranked first in the nation for eight years, and when winning the inaugural Nike Cross Nationals in 2004 was labeled as the greatest high school girls' team in history. Their boys' cross country team won the National Championship in 2005. Also known for its other successful athletic teams, such as ice hockey (New York State champion, 1999 and 2013; New York State finalist, 2010–11), boys' and girls' lacrosse, boys' and girls' indoor and outdoor track and field, football, baseball, competitive cheerleading, girls' tennis, golf and skiing. In 2009-10, Saratoga Springs finished second among the state's Class A schools in the New York State Sportswriters Association All-Sport Championship.

Greenridge Cemetery is a historic cemetery in Saratoga Springs, New York.

The Gideon Putnam Burying Ground is located on South Franklin Street in Saratoga Springs, New York, United States. It contains over 150 graves of early and mid-19th century residents of the city, all from the period between 1812 and 1871. It was restored in the 1980s after suffering from almost a century of neglect. Gideon Putnam was the city's founder. He built one of its first resort hotels, and laid out the grid plan that guided its subsequent development. He intended for this parcel to be used as a public cemetery, and became its first burial after his death from injuries sustained in a construction accident. His grave is the only extant remnant of his presence in the city he founded.His premature death and burial meant that, apart from the Putnam family plot, it was not used much as a public cemetery since no plans or preparation had been made for that purpose. In 2003 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Southern Adirondack System (SALS) is a consortium of thirty-four libraries in Saratoga, Warren, Washington, and Hamilton counties in New York. SALS is one of 23 public state-supported library systems in New York. It was chartered in 1959 by the New York State Board of Regents. It provides a consolidated online catalog and interlibrary loan services for its member libraries.

The Saratoga and North Creek Railway was a heritage railway that began operation in July 2011. Passenger operations ceased on April 7, 2018, and the final revenue freight train to remove stored tank cars operated in May 2018. The railroad ran in the upper Hudson River region of the Adirondack Mountains, in the U.S. state of New York. The railroad operated between North Creek and Saratoga Springs, New York, where it connected with Amtrak's Ethan Allen Express and Adirondack services.

Saratoga Springs station is a train station owned by the Capital District Transportation Authority and operated by Amtrak in Saratoga Springs, New York. It is situated along the Canadian Pacific Railway. Saratoga Springs is served by Amtrak's Adirondack and Ethan Allen Express, in addition to the Saratoga & North Creek Railway's two heritage lines. The station has one low-level side platform to the east of the tracks.

Saratoga Central Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school and middle school located in Saratoga Springs, New York. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany. The 2021-2022 enrollment is 202 students. Tuition for the 2021–2022 school year is $7,380 (6-8) and $9,830 (9-12).

Geyser Crest is a residential neighborhood in the southwest section of the city of Saratoga Springs and the east part of the town of Milton, New York, in the United States. It is separated from downtown Saratoga Springs by Geyser Road and Route 50. Most of the neighborhood homes were built in the 1970s. Most children attend Geyser Road Elementary School, Maple Avenue Middle School, and Saratoga Springs High School; a small number who live in the far west section attend Ballston Spa Central Schools. Geyser Crest has an elevation of 351 feet (107 m). Geyser Crest appears on the Saratoga Springs U.S. Geological Survey Map and is in the Eastern Time Zone (UTC -5 hours). Geyser Crest also observes daylight saving time.
